Divination Distillate mechanics

I aquired a Divination Distillate flask and i must say that i`m a little disapointed on the mechanics involved.

First of all it doesn`t work on full HP. You must be recovering health so that the bonus will work. So when facing alone an unique monster you must let yourself hit, pop the potion and kill it. Now let`s hope u can take 1-2 hits and not die.

The second bummer is that the effect stops when you reach full HP. Come on, i have 305.6 HP regenerarion per second and have LoH on LA with LMP and Chain. For me to kill a pack of magic mobs with the bonus active is impossible with this set up. To kill a rare/unique with the bonus on in a party is even harder as a ranged. You must get Blood Magic, use your skill whithout hitting anything so that ur HP drops, activate the potion and hope that you are in time for the 1-10% with culling.

And third, there`s no buff icon.
Can you please give this flask good purpose?

Well that's disappointing, I was looking to get one.
Those mechanics are exactly how all flasks work.

It's "Get these bonuses while recovering life/mana," not "Get these bonuses whenever you want them."

Not all flasks work that way, you must reffer to the healing ones. I understand the mechanics of a healing flask and I strongly suggest that the bonus effect should not end when reaching full HP or mana.

Yes, I was referring to life/mana/hybrid flasks and not utility flasks (which can't possibly work that way). Anyway, there are dozens of threads suggesting that flask effects continue after full life/mana and that they be able to be used when already on full life/mana. The devs don't want either of those to occur.

I got to say it took a little getting used to this flask sense i dont get hit and are low life i dont get to take the HP part of it but i have to Spam curse befor i can use the flask :P
I think they made it on purpose ( otherwise it would be a godly wanted flask )

Now you have to do the same thing a lot of us did, sell it to another guy and pray that that guy could use it.

If you have mana you should consider running a fairly leveled Arctic armour and use the flask whenever you lost enough mana.

The flask can also be used when you are in trouble, the +6 max ele res can save your life.

wtf u still not fix this stupid flask? COMON GUYS u must understand that this is total BS with mechanic of this flask. I dont know what u thinking when did it this way but it MUST be fixed to give full time mf buff whatever u on full hp/mana or not this is simple as fck u already make mana/hp potion work in proper way with last patch but forgot to fix the uniqe buff!
I agree this flask deserves its own buff in the top left corner. Or better yet, an effect symbol that circles you like with quicksilver and granite flasks.

There's nothing here about the "mechanic of this flask", because this flask doesn't have it's own mechanics. It has a general flask mechanic of providing a bonus while the flask is in effect - all such bonuses work exactly like this, and that is explicitly intentional and very unlikely to change.
