Divination Distillate mechanics
Also wish this was changed ... RF .. okay ... but is this really only supposed to be useful that way? Other than that, it's nothing but a glorified Hybrid Flask, which will hav ea little effect in rare cases where you manage to just lose enough life before the boss kill. Granted, many items are tied to specific kidns of builds .. low life etc. But I'm not quite OK with this flask effect only available to RFing or so... I find that somewhat silly.

IMO it's pretty well balanced....like other uniques it takes some thought as to how you integrate it into your build.
Also agree that if it were just an effect flask or functioned similar to a granite/resist/movement flask...it would be OP...heck I'd probably still use it just for the 6% to max resists. I'm playing a low life/melee flicker build and it took some experimenting. My solution was adding some attack speed by adding haste aura and dropping anger, and putting increased duration on my critical weakness to use up a bigger chunk of mana before i pop the flask. This also allowed me to add quality with no problem. Even the smaller available mana pool (due to higher mana reservation of haste vs anger) wasn't an issue due to the additional mana use. I can pretty much chain the pot as long as there's mobs in range to attack and I dont stop to regen (via leech) without using mana. To me it just adds another level of "depth" to a build that you have to plan around. Last edited by Honch#7583 on Sep 2, 2013, 10:29:23 PM

" errr righteous fire degens es usually with mfers not hp, divination flask regens hp not es. ~_~ My suggestion to this is use a lvld artic armour before unique mob dies pop flask and start moving around so that u get a constant drain in mana and At the same time regenerating it and getting the buff. ;) Also i dont think there is a need for an icon buff when in effect coz u could easily tell with the light radius if the feect is active. ;) IGN: DoYouLikeJazzEvan CelSonic Last edited by comparn#3988 on Oct 2, 2013, 12:41:24 AM

My suggestion is for all freaking MFers to stop QQing that you can't abuse every source of MF in the game.

Just found out how this flask worked and I was also disappointed. Just bougt it for 4EX and now I see that I cant benefit from it at all.
Playing CI with low mana relaying on mana leech, so when i use the flask an then hit an enemy (with over 30k dmg) its gone. So well aint going to get any more drops from that one. Im pritty well geared but have no IIR or IIQ at all and this was my chans to get some at all, if i dont buy expensiv IIR/IIQ gear and complitly change gear witch will cost my ALOT. Dont feel its to much to ask that you should get the IIR/IIQ buff for the few sec it last, even if the mechanic work as it should i hope GGG change it. |

It's on purpose, it it was just to pop it and free mega mf, it would never have those values. Should remain like that.
I am the light of the morning and the shadow on the wall, I am nothing and I am all.

" As others are saying: Yes, that's how flasks work, but is it how they should work? Or, should perhaps some of these unique flasks be placed on a different base item types? |

Yeah, i think GGG guy is purposefully not addressing the real problem. this is just another of the multitude of things that reduce build diversity in this game. now you can't get good quant unless you expend mana or are bad at blood magic or something. I have a LLMF build and his flask is literally impossible to use. i didn't think for a moment before i found it that i might be a hybrid flask...because that's idiotic. flask effects ending at full hp is a terrible gameplay decision and i don't think there's a viable argument in favor of it.

How does the way a flask works that has the sole purpose of doing MF affect build diversity? I don't get it.
If it was permanent, it would be badly OP, specifically because of the 6% max resists. I would get one just for the Atziri fight. Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.

How about changing how flasks work in general? This has long since been a reason mana flasks suck
Make it be: "When a flask is at a capped hp/mana/etc, it continues its effect but counts down duration at 3x the speed" or something to that effect |
