Officially Supported Linux Client

A Linux client would be highly appreciated, even if it had to start out as a build using winelib. I'm currently running the game under Wine and managed to get it to run well, but things are a little fiddly with regard to getting decent results at the moment. Even just the assurance that someone at GGG is keeping an eye on how things run under Wine would be comforting. Last edited by MesostelZe#4113 on Feb 12, 2013, 7:00:07 PM

Please do, but not for MAC. We need more real gamers.

I, Zek the Penguin, shall add my voice to my fellow penguins in saying that PoE should DEFINITELY come to linux! I recently posted on my FB page 'Linux Needs More Native Games' about this game, so hopefully Grinding Gears will take notice after more folks add to this post and others like it. |

And so Steam for Linux is officially released, and some of my favorite games come with it. Now if only Path of Exile had Linux support, everything would be perfect.
" Pleas don't be selfish. Everyone deserves to play this game as much as us. I wouldn't mind if they'd start with their support for Mac, if it would mean Linux coming after that. I'm already counted, so continue from the last number. |
