Sorry to be the judas here.
I have ubuntu dual loaded, with poe installed via PoL. Works flawlessly. I'd absolutely love a native client, so all the translator libraries and other cruft could take a hike. It doesn't run too amazingly fast. I still face reality on this one: there will never be native linux support, from an independent developer, on a directx game. --

Takes me whole day to start 1st time under my Ubuntu 12.4 with PoL. Started at 09:00 a.m. still running in "Allocating space". Now is 3:12 p.m. |

I liked Windows until it made my computer crash everytime I wanted to participate in a race league. LIKE TODAY FOR EXAMPLE. /rage And no, crashing was not specific to PoE, other games crashed too, for the record. |
