" Probably a survey was made in the company (NHK's employees) or to the customers (most of them being heavy otakus, so I expect bias). If the survey was sent outside of Nippon, the result should be different. Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

Well, I think myanimelist does a good job at rating the anime on the site, their top 100 should be a bit more... diverse? The list here looks awful though.

I love Neon Genesis. I used to watch that and Trigun on adult swim when I was younger.
That ending though... I also binged and finished Full Metal Alchemist for the first time at end of last month, it was awesome! Though by the sounds of things I should have been watching Brotherhood :) | |
" Both of them are great series, and while brotherhood is often considered the better series overall, the original series does a better job at giving you character background in the first few episodes. That's why I usually recommend watching FMA and then brotherhood afterwards. I make dumb builds, therefore I am.

" I have to admit, so far I only watched the rebuild movies (still waiting for the last one). As for the music, my favourite piece is the music in the battle against Sahaquiel in the first movie. It got an epic chorus and I really love those :D I make dumb builds, therefore I am.

One day I will watch the series. Not today, not tomorrow, but one day I definitely will. There are quite a few series where that is true... I just need to wait for a moment when I really WANT to watch them, forcing myself to watch it would likely make it much less enjoyable.

By the way, what series are you all watching this season? My list is a rather long one...
From last season: Little witch academia 2nd seasons: Boku no hero academia Attack on titan Danmachi (imo this is a 2nd season) Saenai heroine no sodatekata New series: Alice to zouroku Granblue fantasy the animation Eromanga sensei Frame arms girl Busou shoujo machiavellianism Clockwork planet Gin nor guardian Re:creators Renai boukun Rokudenashi majutsu koushi to akashic records Quan zhi gao shou Zero kara hajimeru mahou no sho Shuumatsu nani shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte moratte ii desu ka? (That is probably the longest anime title I've ever seen. Not even GATE comes close to this one...) Now that I think about it, that's an awful lot of series... either I'm doing something very wrong or very right... whatever, as long as I can enjoy them... I make dumb builds, therefore I am.
