That's amazing. Give it three uses with a very long cooldown that summon random melee weapons. Suddenly it's possible to play pure Animate Weapon builds without having to haul around weapons to animate. Portaling into and out of a map isn't so terrible that you just leave good stuff lying on the ground.

GGG, please make this happen. It would be such a huge QOL improvement. It doesn't add any crazy power or anything to the skill, but it removes a massively annoying inconvenience.

Damage. Most weapons do about 30 phys damage base, and the Animate Weapon skill adds another 45-ish (at level 20). So, weapons do about 75 physical damage at base. A level 20 Anger adds ~110 fire damage to every hit, more than doubling the base damage. A level 20 Hatred adds 35% of phys as cold, which in this case is 75*.35= 26 damage. So you can see, Anger adds about 4x as much damage as Hatred does. It's the same for Wrath.

This Skill should get boost ASAP, i forgot when ppl actually used it in the past year.
I think the time has come:

2.6.0 Patch Notes
  • Animate Weapon now limited to 20.
  • 50% less Animate Weapon movement speed.
  • Animate Weapon now can't be affected by auras. (This is a nerf)
  • 20% more Animate Weapon damage at all levels.

    So everyone played necromancer for this skill and farm extremely fast then why all ur guys here asked for buff ? Its funny, this skill gonna get nerfed soon as possible.

    because it practically doesn't work for any build except necro, and is clunky and mana-hungry AF if you don't use it with spell totem?

    With the threshold change to jewels would you consider changing the requirement for http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Spirit_Guards from dexterity to intelligence? Spirit Guards have always been cool but difficult to efficiently incorporate into the typical AW build.

    Hopefully you see this! and don't nerf AW too hard ok :)
