Your socket colors are wrong for your skill gems. You have GBBR for the frost well mechanics when the skills you have listed are RRBB which is impossible (not literately) to get on an all evasion gear or even a EV/ES piece. Hope you have plenty and i mean a shit ton to get the RRBB combo on EV gear.

I wasted like 40 chroms and looked at it again and glad i did.

Uh I said somewhere that I got around this by using armour based gloves, since gloves don't provide much evasion anyways, sorry for the trouble

I feel like Berek's Grip would be really good for this build

Currently trying to rebuild my terrible ranger, worked this out

http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgIAAF4EfgW1CC4M8g5ID6sRlhXwFr8ZjhnVGdchdiP2JP0vbzBxMHwx-jMMNj02eznUOkI6WD7PSTtKfUt4UUdW-lpIXvpf4WHiYqxjQ2egayRv8nBScLtw1XRBdvd31HfXfyuGzocZh3aIa419jb-P-pUFlembjZ2jnaqgn6GkpcunNKp_qrixMLSjvebAUcaiyqnTftQj1QDWitad2RPdqOHb44TnVOd07YPuDu967_DwQvPq-Vb5Y_yr_MX-K_7I

Unsure on whether it would be able to see results as well as your's. The difference I'm noticing is that I would merely have more survivability as opposed to projectile damage. Any comments would be great from anyone familiar with this build.

*Genius build by the way.*

Hey guys, been thinking bout regular LA/chain build, when I found this build. Anybody got to merc/maps on HC/nemesis wit it? Is this build viable for HC leagues? 240% HP looks pretty solid, but people complain about acrobatics reliability (tho I think CODT+enduring cry+immortal call should help that issue)
I have a problem with dps. I can't make more than 2,8k with LA and I know that some has achieved 9k+.
First off I only have a 4 link, how much can I assume the last 2 links will give?

Also, here is my gear. Where should I focus on improving (yeah I need more health but apart from that)
Spoiler

I am at 76 and this is my current build (yes, I went ranger)

Thanks for the all the help you can give
Am I the only one still using this build? :)

I have tried a split arrow-chain-crit build, and I certainly prefer this LA-pierce-crit. It does at least the same damage (kills at same pace or faster), and uses less mana.

If there is anyone at all who has a clue on some tips for my above questions, it will be much appreciated :)
This build looks interesting/awesome and I'm definately attempting to build it.

However, I do have questions (or rather a request for a guide update on one particular point)

Question being: What skill level should each particular recommended skill gems be (and why)?

The reason why I'm asking is because I'm looking at your equipped gems and I'm seeing how in some cases, the gems being matched up with "Cast When Damage Taken" gems are not at the highest maximum level that they can be.

For example: I'm looking at the gems on your Blood-Dance boots. Your CwDT gem can support gems that have a level of 43 or lower. Then I'm looking at the Enduring Cry gem (on the same link) being skill level 6 (requiring a character level of 34) and having its exp bar maxed out (Thus assuming you intentionally stopped its growth instead of leveling it up). So I'm wondering why you did not or could not level it up and attempt to make it level 9 (which would make it require a level of 43, which is exactly the limit that CwDT sets).

Same thing with Ice Spear in your Glove item. The CwDT on that link is level 1 and thus has a limit of being able to support gems with a character level of 31 or lower. Yet the Ice Spear on that gem is a level 2 with a maxed out exp bar with a required character level of 6, when one could take that Ice Spear gem and level it up as high as Skill Level 8 (Character level 28. Skill level 9 would make it require character level 33 which is too high for a level 1 CwDT.)

So I'm wondering if you have a tactical reason for why some of your gems seem to be underleveled in comparison to their "Cast When Damage Taken" gem on the same link.

I'm also kinda curious why you recommended Enfeeble in the build, but instead have Critical Weakness curse in your equipment there. (Although improved crit IS a focus of the build, so it's not really out of place)

That said, I've reading your guide with much gusto!

I don't know if you will ever get around to reading this or not, but the reason you have no problem with elemental reflect is that you use an ATTACK to cause the elemental damage, so the reflect is an ATTACK and not a SPELL. You therefor are getting dividends on your chance to dodge projectiles being capped with both sides of reflect.

I feel that was worded oddly, but you have the same chance to dodge physical reflect as you do elemental reflect.
