While you may have interpreted (or decided to believe) that most people are "offended"/"jealous" whatever, honestly I find most people to be apathetic, and rightly so since you know, my gaming experience has nothing to do with his. Regardless, again to reiterate, I don't mind streamers, they take money from gullible people, who should always lose money. What I do mind is trying to suggest that GGG should do something about this guy because he is "special". He is a player like the rest of us. |

You would be blind to consider this to be a "good thing"
I don't like Kripparian, and I don't like Athene, or most streamers really... however I respect what they do for these types of games. Bad publicity is bad publicity, and this was -really- bad. A scion may be born of the rich, and as such hold more opportunity...
but a scion will never be able to appreciate the finer beauty of those less fortunate. |

" I actually didn't make it that far in the credits if it really does give a shout out to him. However, a shout out is one thing, chasing around a streamer is another. Suggesting GGG needs this streamer in order to thrive is along the lines of "the game needs this fix or it will die ultimatum". I am pretty sure word of mouth will eventually do wonders for this game. Combine that with the steam release and I am fairly sure GGG will have a healthy enough population for profits. While I cannot speak for GGG and I do not pretend to, if GGG simply want to expand it's customers it would change the dynamics in the game. GGG has said previously it is targeting a specific audience (my god I say this phrase a lot). Athene is a dick, people hate him, none of that matters. What matters is that he is popular, and he accidentally came across the biggest desync hardcore death ever while many people, who probably don't know about this game, were watching. Now they probably have the worst impression of this game ever. " +1 we all know desync (ven these that claim that it doesnt exist and we should play on toasters) and we are used to it because poe has (had?..) a draw stronger than desync but new players or players on the fence just saw something WORST poe has to offer. if someone had shown me GTA V desyncing like that - yep.. it DOES matter and while Athene this Athene that he IS popular and that stream surely did a lot of damage |
