Ah yes I had some trouble finding this mob. Sometimes, they won't even spawn in that particular instance (much like the flame/frost/thunder guardians in the ancient pyramid). They spawn in the puddles of water and along the streams of water. Found my first rare one yesterday next to the waypoint.

Helmann was completing this achievement tody on stream. The last rar he needed was the undying evangelist, he farmed Scepter of God and Upper Scepter of God for it.

It might be just bad luck though, since typically there's only like 2-3 necros on the level anyways.

I spawned Lower Prison over 100 times before I finally got the rare necromancer. Now for the diabloist in Upper Prison *sigh*.

The best advice I can give for finding the rare necromancers is to roll a map with the "area is inhabited by undead" mod. You will get quite a few rare necromancer-type mobs to spawn.

Undying Incinerator is now confirmed as able to spawn as a rare outside of maps.

What does Lurking Venom monster look like? Its listed spawn is in The Wetlands (a2) location.

Sounds like a spider type name...

It is probably a snake if it is in the wetlands.


Can I get a confirmation that Reanimators spawn rare in Lunaris temple 1? I've ran about 10 instances and have not found it yet.

Brittle arsonist seems to spawn a lot on catacomb map. Never could find it in upper prison.

after much grinding i can confirm that lurking venom is a spider in the weavers chambers and not the wetlands, they are the ones that drop down from the ceiling. wicked helpful guide tyvm.
