How do you organize your Stash Tabs?

I have 20 tabs. What is this "organize" think u speak of ?

earlier on (before i took a long break) i had to be organised with i think 34 or so tabs full of stuffs.
once OB hits ill do something similar 1 tab Orbs 1 tab Gems (normal) 1 tab Gems (quality) 1 tab Flasks 1 tab Rings 1 tab Amulets then they were broken down by type. so 1H weapons had a few tabs, then 2H weapons, then boots, shields etc. when i was recipe matching i had 16 or so tabs devoted purely to chest armor divided by base rare name ie. Rhoa, Steel etc nameable (premium) tabs and some decent navigation keys will be my savior in OB i reckon. Last edited by ualac#0162 on Jan 18, 2013, 7:50:38 PM

I have 34 stash tabs... but I consider everything pretty well organized. Looks something like this.
1 Currency 1 Flasks (HP & Mana) 1 Flasks (other) 1 Rings 1 Amulets 1 Maps 2 1H weapons 2 2H Weapons (ex-bows) 2 Bows & Quivers 1 Head (<50 level) 1 Head (>50 level) 1 Belts 1 Hands (<50 level) 1 Hands (>50 level) 1 Feet (<50 level) 1 Feet (>50 level) 1 Torso (<29 level) 1 Torso (30-50) 1 Torso (50-60) 1 Torso (60+) 1 Shields (<50) 1 Shields (>50) 1 "To Enchant" 1 "To Vendor" 1 "To Auction" 1 Red/Blue Gems 1 Green Gems 1 Gems of Quality/Value 1 Leveling Armor (<20) 1 Leveling Weapons (<20) 1 Magic Find Gear This evolved and isn't perfect. Next league I will do things a bit different. My less than level 30 stuff will be all in 1 or 2 pages. I realized I really don't need a bunch of gear for those levels, they go by so fast. At this point I think it will be a while before I buy tabs again, but I also am able to support my guild (which I lead) with my stash in addition the guild stash, and also have lots of different eq options when trying to mix and match to get max resits. 1. Currency/Maps. Eventually I'll have to split these into two
2. Caster stuff. Leveling, mid game, some key gems 3. Items to Chance orb, I keep it here because I use it often 4. Jewelry/Items I know I can sell for a lot. Both in one tab because I have few of each 5. Stuff for the Chaos recipe 6. Uniques! 7. General gems, organized by color 8. Quality gems and gems desired in the Trade chat. 9. Pots for every occasion 10. Body Armour 11. Helmets/Boots/Gloves. 12. Melee Stuff 13. Ranged Weapons 14. Quivers and ranged accessories 15. Stone Hammers (have a lot actually, I do a lot of rushes) 16. Entitled "Wat", contains the most random uniques that I give away, and anywhere between a few hundred to a thousand Wisdom/TP Scrolls Nemesis was my first league, so I think next time I'm going to be more conservative with what I keep, and on the day of or before the new leagues I'll plan out Stash tabs precisely. |

Scroll - ID on left, portal on right Orb - Shards/orbs up to alchemy. Vertical lines, if two types in same line then top/bottom. Alt, Trans, Aug, Jewel/Fuse, Scouring/Regret, Alchemy, Chance, Chrome x3 lines, Whetstone, Armorer Scrap H.Orb - High orbs, same organization as Orb. Map - Maps and chisels. Sorted by type and level. Q.Armor - Quick dump page for quality (10+) armor during loot runs. Q.Weapon Q.Flask Flask - Quick dump for blue flasks. V - Potential vendor fodder. V - Second page. V - 3rd. V - 4th. When even this page is filled, I'd ID the loot. Temp - Quick page for sharing items among characters. Like Portal gem. MF - Magic Finding gear. One column of rings, one for amulets, 4 for helms, 4 for gloves, 4 for boots. R.Left - iLvl60+ rare loot for vendor recipe. Left means left-hand slot. R.Right R.Armor R.2H - iLvl60+ 2-handed weapons. R.HGB - Helm/Gloves/Boots. R.ARB - Amulet/Ring/Belt. Resist Flask - Elemental/chaos resistance. Utility Flask - Quicksilver, granite, etc. Status Life - HP pot with status cure. Status Hybrid Status Mana Flasks - That does fit previous pages. U.Jewel - Unique jewel. Jewel - Resist rings and such. Stat - Jewels that mainly provide stat points. U.Helm - Unique helm. Helm - Sorted by column: Armor, Armor/Evade, Evade, Evade/ES, ES, ES/Armor. Helm - Page 2. U.Armor Armor - Sorted like helm. Armor - Page 2. U.Shield Shield Shield U.Belt Belt - Sorted by type. U.Gloves Gloves Gloves U.Boots Boots Boots U.2H.Sword 2H.Sword U.2H.Axe 2H.Axe U.2H.Mace 2H.Mace U.Staff Staff U.Sword Sword U.Axe Axe U.Mace Mace U.Claw Claw U.Dagger Dagger U.Wand Wand U.Bow Bow Bow - Page 2. I am working on how to better categorize the flasks. This is also why I didn't bother with new leagues anymore. Reorganizing those remove-only stash pages will kill my mouse hand. " I don't. I have 109 pages of complete mess. I don't even have currencies grouped together. I still remember the very first suggestion I ever made after joining the game, and I'm still just as adamant that it should be implemented now as I was then; Organize stash button. I'd pay for it as an MTX if need be. I'd pay loads in fact. I just want to hit a button and have it magically reorganize my entire stash. I imagine it working in much the same way as the organize stash button on TL2. Please. Please. Please. |

A better option than an organize button would be to have regex (Or not) search filters.

I have 1 tab for currency, 1 tab for maps, 8 tabs for dumping unID stuff from map runs, each kind of weapon and armour (1H, 2H, Armour 1 and 2 etc), 3 tabs for Uniques, a couple for crafting, and more tabs for dumping unID stuff.

Temp stash tab. Then orbs, gems, gems for trade, white weapons, white armor twice, 3 unique tabs, 2 rare weapon tabs, 2 rare armor tabs and 1 trade tab.
