Stuck at checking resources

It astounds me that this issue existed for so long. One would think that if they weren't able to fix it they would at least give us an alternative, like downlong the entire game directly. I'll try to look for it on various torrents, maybe I can get the game avoiding their broken installer.

Jesus christ what a bloody mess this was, I've installed this games on over 10 computers and this is the first time it had a brain fart as hard as this.
So here is what's happening with the bastard, the client is writing itself a file list for some stupid reason (Client.txt), and until that file list is done nothing else will ever work. Problem is this stupid ass process just gets stuck every couple thousand lines, but it needs to get up to around a million lines(125MB roughly) to be done. Deleting all the other stuff/setting privileges/disabling firewalls doesn't really have an effect, it is only when you start the client again and again that it manages to write a couple more lines towards the final number needed. So the "fix" is to keep restarting that borked client every minute or so until it moves forward. I wonder if sharing the Client.txt could make speed up this nonsense. Devs whoever you had coble together this downloader put his ass back to work, because you left this broken POS in there for 3 bloody years with absolutely no alternatives to get the goddamn game. |

Retards devs do nothing ? POE already died? Morons, put it to Torrent file and problem solved no new players = dead game... so 2 day more if i no see change I stop downloading/playing with it, cuz worthless then.. rip!

i got the installation working on my Windows 10 Laptop, but it wont work on my Windows 7 gaming laptop. Same problem as everyone, Checking Resources for 6 hours straight now.

Can we please get some dev's to post something. Windows 7 gaming machine, I have tried EVERYTHING in this thread and the only thing I am noticing is that the client.txt stops writing after a few seconds. I have to close the installer and open it again in order for it to do stuff.

Tried everything on this thread, even re-installed the game, and still 'checking resources' for 4+ hours.
