As you may have seen, we reverted our policy on the microtransactions. They can now be freely reclaimed from items and used on other items at no cost.

This is a FREE game. GGG need to make income. But we still get greedy players (who I laugh at for calling GGG greedy) who have pressured GGG into changing their policies. You people are the greedy ones, who want everything for free. Jesus.

nobody wants everything for free, it's just hard to imagine buying an effect for an item at lower levels on a new character (which is when i'll want to be sparkly i don't know about you) only to realize i wasted money when 10 minutes later i find an upgrade or even 6 hours later...just not a very fun way to spend micro transaction points

Some errors:

Increased their base life and added a small amount of general elemental resistances have been added.

The new player resistance penalties are 0% on Normal, -20% on Cruel and -60% on Merciless difficulty. Chaos resistance is now included and has the same penalty apply to it.

Thanks! Fixed.

So just want to get some clarification. If I use a cosmetic effect on my hardcore character and he dies. I will be able to remove the cosmetic effect when my toon and all his equipped items ends up in the default league right?

Like i wrote in my previous post, will only play HC.

You can get the effect back to your microtransaction stash from any league and then apply it to any other league.

I completely agree with this change. It will be nice to use the effects on new item upgrades as you level up, without paying a fee every time. With that said i will be purchasing them now.

Exactly. I want nothing for free. I didnt buy golden kiwi cause I had to. I bought it cause I wanted to. And I am prepared to spent more on supporting GGG. I just wouldn't pay for a one use cosmetic effect. Never have in any game. I am prepared to pay more for a reusable one however. And GGG just went from getting no money from me to getting a lot of money from me, cause I'm a sucker when it comes to vanity stuff and I assure you there's a lot more people like me. I'll definitely be buying tons of these now.

Also GGG - I cannot express my love and gratitude I feel for you guys. In an indutry filled with Activisions, EA's and Kotticks you guys are a shining jewel. I like how transparent you are with the community, how you listen and try to work on compromises. I feel nothing but respect for you guys.

14 hours!!! Come on!! Any1 watched the episode of South Park where Cartman was waiting for a Nintendo Wii to come out? You know how I feel:)

Good job, Chris!
A perfect example of a company willing to listen to the community!
As far as Bank Tabs and Item Effects go, it's pretty simple...

If you don't like it...Don't buy it

Continued to incrementally improve the art, effects, environments and sound.

It can get better?

Seriously great work guys, so excited for tomorrow.
