plz elobrate on the vaal map fragments? currently when you have vaal map fragments added to another map you get a bonus to that map? is this still in effect?

what happens if you put 2 or more vaal map fragments in at the same time? do you get 2 porals to 2 different side areas?

so if you have all 4 map fragments and you stick them in the map maker in the wrong order what happens then?

These generated vaal area's will have vaal loot at the end right? so this is just another chance for people to get a midnight fragment?

Don't suppose its possible to works some recipe so that the created vaal area's will have a lvl higher then 66 (I assume that's the lvl they'll be since that's the lvl of the lab)

^^ This

...and, do particular fragments allow for particular corrupted areas? Do corrupted areas evoked through the eternal lab count towards the challenge?

Please elaborate on how fragments work in the lab. I don't have enough to waste them experimenting.

1) Yes, it's still in effect. That effect takes place when you have a normal map in the receptacle. It also applies if you place a Vaal fragment in there and then use 1-2 other Vaal fragments to boost the resulting corrupted areas' quantity.

2) No, you get a corrupted area with 5-10% extra quantity (depending on whether you have 1-2 extra fragments).

3) They do nothing. Correct the order and you'll get the Atziri map.

4) It's a chance to get all the same stuff you've been getting from corrupted areas all this time, including more fragments (just as you can get more maps in maps)

5) You'll have to wait for players to experiment in order to find out which fragments correspond to which corrupted areas, unless you're willing to experiment yourself. There's no loss in it, so why wouldn't you? You get some or other corrupted area regardless.
No new for fusing ? for next patch ?

about the dual wield "improvements":

where would someone who is new to the game find the +20% phys dam to dual wielding noted?

Why couldn't just some of the dual wielding skill nodes be buffed instead of adding such an overall buff?

why only phys dam improved?

general issues:

why hasen't the minimap ben improved and a gazillion of other things mentioned in several excellent feedback threads? just one example here: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/355307

rather disappointing patch again imho. I see mostly window dressing...a sham.

This is an awesome patch! WTF is wrong with you ppl?! Most patches they nerf stuff, yet this patch is full of nothing but buffs. And still you complain!

The 20% multiplier prolly won't show up anywhere, just as none of the other multipliers don't show up anywhere. You'll just see a boost in your dmg from what it was pre-patch.

The answers to both your questions is that IT WAS DONE INTENTIONALLY! They obviously feel that phys dual-wielders in particular needed a buff and not ele builds. So they buffed phys dmg only. Some of the dual-wield nodes also don't specify only phys dmg boosts and so would boost an ele build as well. Attack speed buffing also boosts ele builds, as well as increasing mana costs.

Although many ppl say phys is superior to ele builds, this is only true in endgame with awesome gear. Most players end doing better as ele builds because said awesome gear is also awesomely expensive. Going ele is easier and so for them, phys makes no sense.

They've nerfed so many things because top-end players trivialize the game with them and we've complained so much about that in previous patches and now you ppl are seriously complaining about them doing something good for the 99%?!

As for the feedback threads, do you realize how many there are?! Do you realize how much conflict they have?! And this conflict is by ppl who haven't been able to test the changes proposed. Just imagine how much more difficult it is for GGG, who do get to test changes and see the results. They do respond to feedback. They've done so in this very thread. There have been changes suggested by players put into the game over the years. But for Christs' sake, give them a break! They're only human, after all. They can't fix everything at once. And, as much as you might think otherwise, they understand the game better than you do.

I repeat, this is a great patch. Appreciate it, for once, you sorry louts.

*End Rant*
Players now receive a +20% physical damage multiplier while dual wielding.

I assume only for attacks with the weapons?
Forums are SOOO much fun on patch day!

Casuals play because it's fun, not to achieve any goal unreachable with their resources.
We are playing for the next difficulty, the next keystone, the next item upgrade.
Not to feel better than anyone else.

Any reason why using mortal pieces in the lab doesn't result in mortal pieces from the corrupted area? I just ran several and got vaal gems and a sacrifice at noon....

Mortal pieces only drop from Atziri, as before. Thier role hasn't changed. You're still meant to use them to get to Uber Atziri. The corrupted areas spawned by them are regular corrupted areas and so would only drop the regular fragments/Vaal gems.

Good question. Does EK benefit from this?

Anyway, most ppl think this change is good only for melee builds cos bows can't be dual-wielded. But keep in mind another somewhat uncommon build that might just become a lot more common after this patch - DUAL-WIELD PHYSICAL WANDER! :D
Buff dual wield, don´t introduce a new dual wield skill :(
