Hey I tried Vaal Arc and it's so good for Monolyth so could you give me the link of the build you are doing with vaal arc ? Or at least which gems to link ?

" I don't think so because Vaal Arc doesn't work with Unleash and Spell Echo I would like to maximise the dmg of Vaal Arc because I just have to launch it one time and it chains far more than normal Arc |

I think I hit price wall and dont know what to do now. Besides 6L Inpulsa for more than 7 exalted orb. That's my prioritety. Any sugestion what can I do more?
I also think about upgradeing my gems to 21/20 by again - which first? Thanks for help. |

" As others said until you get your regular arc gems to 20 and start vaaling them to get 21, you just use vaal arc as your main skill. Some of the supports wont work with it but its still a little extra burst for boss fights until you get a lvl21 regular. Once you get the build really going though in maps you won't need it though. |

" I would say getting a ring with curse with assassins mark or the Oskarm gloves (much cheaper, but capping resists on just helm, one ring, belt, and ammy is a pain but it can be done if you switch to a rare necklace) will give you a very nice boost. On top of all the extra crit chance and damage you also always have max power charges making every drop of crit damage you get that much more valuable. I'd hate to lose that ammy but your losing a lot not getting assassins mark on hit. I have a separate question: once we do have assassins mark on hit, is there something we can swap out power charge on crit on ball lightning with to make it a lot more useful? Hi ya'll,
I've been testing a lot of builds, trying to figure out what I really enjoy playing and fits my playstyle and this Arc Ele is deffo up my alley. The problem I am facing is that my single target damage seems to be quite low (vs Bosses or some rares). " You are looking good but dual wielding suits this build quite well. Since a majority of our defenses come from dodge/spell dudge and that keystone reduces other defenses, shield really isn't necessary. You just have to work to cap resists from only helmet/amulet/belt/one ring (since I use atziri step instead of rare boots). You get a lot of extra damage out of a second weapon. Also Doryani's is pretty lackluster on this build IMO, in legion you can get very cheap like 3c rares that vastly outperform it. Anything with the 70% spell damage and 5% damage as chaos mod and 80%+ spell crit chance, and an open prefix to slap lightning damage. Or has implicit lightning damage and has an open affix for lightning damage/cast speed/ect. If you have real money you want crit damage multi on your weapons as well. The key to single target dps is your flasks, namely atziri's promise on top of quartz flask. Pop dodge flask, quartz, and atziris promise (I prefer to keep a quicksilver flask over onslaught since our clear speed is already insanely fast), drop ball lightning, and blast away. Crit damage multi on anything you can find is a huge boost always with all that crit and our 100% power charge uptime and crit bonuses from oskarm assassins mark. Another big dps boost later when you have lots of $$ is switching to an assassins mark ring and rare gloves with spell improving mods. Also for hypothermia make sure you have some cold damage on a weapon or a jewel. Bonus that when dual wielding we can double dip with bonus spell damage on jewels and dual weild spell damage on jewels. |
