" Thanks for your advice. But getting instakilled under a fragment of a second is not going to be remedied by higher damage. :) Might help with manastarving but the problem there is also high bursts of incoming damage, rather than extended survival. |

" Looking your gear over, the problem is obvious: you barely have any added life on anything. You absolutely need to replace almost everything. Those uniques are taking up valuable space and not providing much benefit in return. You can trade for basic gear with good life/mana/resistances rolls pretty cheaply. You should easily be able to get 1,000 more life just from following Enki's equipment suggestions. Also, get boots with at least 30% increased movement speed. I'm sure this has been asked before has anyone tried using an agenrod west?
With empower level 4 you can get arc to have an additional chain as well as increasing the level of a couple other support gems. Path of building shows it adds a lot, but my gear is currently not that great as is. |

What about using anima stone with Liege of the Primordial for more bonuses from our ascendancy? adding a 3rd golem for another 20% dmg increased and 25% aura effect of golems shouldnt be that bad? :)

" hmmm, it is near impossible to get instakill doing legion unless you just stay still in the middle of the battlefield. even with 6k hp you wont survive playing that way. always dash/warp around and with high damage its faster to clear the mob. less mob less damage on you. i did that and it works for me so far with that said, you will still need more hp if you go for higher tier maps |

" but the staff spell damage is so low. 40% increased in lightning damage is not nearly enough. by using that you also forgo potential critical chance, multiplier, cast speed etc in which all this will help you clear mobs faster as for additional chain, its useful to chain large mobs. but with enough cast speed, there's actually no mobs to chain. havent try it myself but additional chain does not help in fighting single boss? there's also enchanted helmet that provide additional arc chain. level 4 empower will cost you so much more than just getting that enchanted helm+all other equipment. |

" Those are all good points. I think I'm behind the current build because I'm using elemental overload so some of those drawbacks don't really hurt me as much. Additional chain does help single target dps but its not as much as some people make it out to be. |

" thats interesting. with elemental overload crit multiplier doesnt really matter. anything related to crit multiplier can be switch to more spell damage. jewel, rings, amulet etc. would love to see your feedback after trying that. |
