6L is absolutely worth 12c. You'll save a ton of time by just farming the currency as opposed to farming Humility cards. It should take less than an hour if you're using the vendor recipe for chaos orbs.
Curious how to get ~12 chaos with the recipe in an hour? -- rare rings/amulet/belt are not that often right?
Target currency nodes in Delve and use Vaal Arc to clear legion mobs. These should get you all the jewelry you need.

Been trying to follow this guide as close as possible, fairly successfull aswell, however in late mapping i've been dying quite a bit, so i've come here for pointers to improve my experience.
You should be able to see my character, do you have any pointers on my gear? (i crafted the inpulsa on my own, only using 5 fusings to 6-link, never felt so lucky in my life)
When i play with my meta cyclone buddy i have a hard time keeping up, is there a different movement spell setup i could use that would make me move faster? so far i've hung onto a quicksilver flask to speed things up as i feel like my current lightning warp setup is a tad too slow.
I will replace my quartz flask soonish, i've just been using the soul catcher for a bit to deal with the legion encounters quickly, using vaal arc.
"I'm testing an alternative gem setup for more Vaal Arc damage in Legion.
If anyone feels like experimenting with it, i'd really appreciate some feedback!" - Enki
I saw Enki add this to the top of his guide, but haven't been able to find the new setup. I've been using Vaal Arc all league and am interested in playing around with it. Can anyone tell me what he's linking to vaal arc, or where I can find the setup to play around with it?
Thanks!
I believe the setup he was/is testing dropped Hypothermia and Unleash for Efficacy and Increased Critical Damage.

First off your flasks are kinda jacked up. But I really shouldn't be pointing fingers, as I do some funny flask stuff. Well, a lot of funny other stuff too, but yeah.
If you don't have a Watchers Eye with mana leech, and aren't using whatever that (frankly terrible) mask is, I would highly recommend Lavianga's Spirit instead of that hybrid flask. For the cost of 1 flask slot, it will solve *all* your mana problems until you can get a watchers eye.
Also also the reduced duration on the quicksilver is silly, and should not be there. Re-roll it or make a new flask, imvho.
It's a personal preference, but Lightning Warp does not feel good to me. I actually got to ask Enki on stream, and he demo'd Lightning Warp for me with and without the % Lightning Warp Cast Speed Enchantment on the helm. It certainly seems a viable movement skill with high enough cast speed, but that is almost certainly what you are lacking if it feels slow. (I can't talk crap -- I personally like flame dash but the charge limit is absolutely brutal in a bad way).
Since you are using a shield, perhaps consider using shield charge as a movement skill until you get a helm with a lightning warp enchant, or otherwise improve cast speed for the skill.
Also I have no f**king clue what you are doing with hypothermia and animate guardian in your wand. I stuck Conductivity in mine for extra lightning pen; it's not what Enki does but if you're lost on what to do with the empty sockets I would encourage you to make them.. useful or something... [[Note: Conductivity 'probably' cancels assassins mark unless you can apply more than 1 curse, so be forewarned. It can still be useful to apply in certain circumstances, or on initial encounters but is limited in usefulness unless you somehow manage to get a second curse available]]
Other than that try to get an Assassin's Mark on Hit shaped ring so you can ditch the gloves for better ones.
Hope that helps!

Thanks, I'll try it out! I almost feel like I'd drop something besides Hypothermia (hard choices, I know) to smooth things out between vaal/non-vaal, but we'll see how it goes!

Thanks for your input
I will try looking into that mana flask you suggested, i just been using the hyrbid flasks on the occations that i've been low on mana, other then that i don't see what you mean about jacked up? except for my quartz flask which is just a test.
I'll try looking into flame dash and shield charge, i think the helmets with lightning warp enchants are very expensive.
The hypothermia gem setup is just lvl'ing, they have no real purpose other then that.
[[EDIT: Clicking the right quote button is hard for me, apparently.]]

Jacked up: 2/5 flasks are as recommended, in a build that is admittedly fairly dependent on flasks.
There is no "wrong" way to do things, I think. Better ways, worse ways, for sure. I do questionable things too, just to see how it works out: I'm currently using the belt I have for reduced flask usage at 19% so I can use a near-perfect Rotgut flask (bastard child of quicksilver and onslaught) twice; I actually take the overcharged passive to buff my CWDT + Immortal Call with the endurance charges, then burn the Frenzy charges for Onslaught on use of my Rotgut flask, and then... well, keep the power charges. Even then I swap that flask out depending on map mods.
I'm just questioning what these various flasks provide. Honestly, Soul Catcher is kind of interesting and I can see why you'd try it out. But the hybrid flask is a waste if your running a HP flask as well: the sheer amount of damage Laviange's can soak through Mind Over Matter, while letting you free-cast and topping you off at the end (with four consecutive uses). If you don't use the flask slot for that, you should definitely be using Quartz or Jade flasks; Quartz gives dodge for spells and attacks that works well for our evasion/dodge based defense, and also provide the utility of phasing which is fantastic for things like positioning, escaping group clusters, or breezing through delve. Jade gives strong evasion, I'd say feels better than Quartz purely mitigation-wise; it just has less utility.
You're having trouble with later-game content due to damage mitigation; looking at your flasks that's why I'd say they look kinda jacked up to me, I guess. I'm no seasoned veteran, though, so take it for what you will.

My two cents here is that a Cinderswallow Urn could easily replace your hybrid flask. Get at least 1 point of fire damage added to your spells and the flask basically sustains itself, gives you tons of instant life and mana recovery, adds a 10% damage multiplier, AND gives you Onslaught. Plus the benefits of whatever mod is crafted on it (critical strike chance, ideally).
I'm having issues buying upgrades, i've so far wasted about 10-20c getting new weapons with the way you explained to buy on poe trade. I'm currently rocking two wands that can't seem to be beatable by any other items within the 30c price range. Can I also use a 2hander or something?
