Hello,

i'm new on POE ^^ in the guide you speak about all stat for each gear should have but i don't saw the stat for the shield is there something specific we need ?

as i'm realy new i try to take realy the good thing for understand.

Most people are dual wielding instead of using a shield, You can use two one handed weapons instead of a shield.
How much DPS should Arc do? Already in the part of mapping

49% is not bad, but we definitely want to aim for higher. You want at least 60%, 75% is ideal.

As Enki states, tooltip damage doesn't mean a whole lot, but 25k is kind of low nonetheless. I would focus on getting all your gems to 20/20, switching to Inpulsa's, and getting weapons like the ones in Enki's guide, focusing on crit chance and multiplier.

So I swapped my daggers for wands and had a slight increase in crit chance and damage, but not much. I then decided to recolor my Loreweave to fit in the last gem link and replace the hypothermia I was running, and that doubled my DPS alone haha. Controlled Destruction and Increased Critical strikes is an interesting combination, but definitely is worth the DPS boost. Feeling a lot better now

You mentioned that an Arc crit chance of 60+ is ideal, I am running out of ideas on how to increase my crit chance for Arc. After all my tweaks so far I am still at 50%. Should I be focusing on getting that on jewels more?

Is that 50% just tooltip? If you can get to 60% with all power charges up, that is sufficient.

I would say your amulet is a good place to get more crit chance and crit multi, though.

Arc damage scales pretty well as you level and upgrade your gear, so it really depends how much time and currency you've invested. You should have a minimum of 600k DPS once you're fully geared, but that can take awhile.

Also, always keep in mind that you need PoB and a little extra math to accurately calculate true Arc DPS. You're never going to see 600k as your tooltip damage; most of our damage is "hidden", if you will.

Oh i didn't think about that but yeah it's true it would be better i don't even know it was possible ahah, thanks :3
It was all quite well in league, but moving to Standard league, this fails hard as it's very squishy and weak. Also, mana is a constant problem as well. Damage output is less effective also.

IMO, some passive tree choices for flasks makes me "meh".
Good build for a newcomer.
But the content in standard is the same as in a league, except for the league special...

The passive skill-tree has had some changes when blight launched, did you respend your points after the transition?
In the TLDR gems for Arc you have DONT HAVE Increased critical Strikes Support but in the gem setup section you have Increased critical strikes support. Why? Thank you

Just leveled to 100 for the first time playing this build, i changed some things 'cause i don't like to copy-paste builds. It was one of the tankiest char I've ever played. If someone is interested i played with a staff, this one:

I just wanted to pump lightning damage to its max according to the fact that we are scaling shock effect, so no %ele as extra chaos shenanigans. Thank you Enki for this build!

That staff is absolutely dope. I am now wondering if I should've gone for the 7L with my staff instead of the +2 to all spell skill gems, since you could still get Arc to level 26 with the 7L.

Of course, I'm trying the Elemancer variant, so there are more factors to consider.

If I may ask, what are your defenses like, since this is the tankiest character you've ever played? Also, where did you do your leveling? Breachstone rotas?

Sorry for replying this late.
My defenses are what is written in this build: 5000 life, 2000 mana, Acro/Phase Acro, 12% spell dodge on boots and a Quartz Flask (so 50/50 dodge in the end), an enduring Mana Flask, Immortall Call linked to CWDT, Chaos Golem and balanced resistances for the Wise Oak (I have to admit i was pretty lucky with it, spent a whole afternoon in my menagerie lol).

For leveling, i went for Pure Chayulas from 99 to 100. I managed for the first time to reach 99 by myself with a charachter so i gave it a go for the level 100 for once.

The TL;DR section was for leveling only, my friend. The gems section is your endgame goal.
