Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page & POE 2 Arc Summary
Hi! Have been following this guide for my first playthrough. I'm at the point where I need to "Start looking out for a Staff (not Warstaff) with Spellcaster affixes".
What exactly am I looking for? I've seen only woodful, serpentine and royal staves.. |

Hey guys! Just noticed that the linked flasks don't match the list of suffixes specified for each.
Just writing them down to confirm: 1) Catalysed Eternal Life Flask of Staunching 2) Experimenter's Diamond Flask of Warding 3) Chemist's Silver Flask of Curing (flask linked has of Warding) ?? 4) Chemist's Basalt Flask of Curing (flask linked has of Staunching) ?? 5) Enduring Eternal Mana Flask of Efficiency (flask linked has of Heat) ?? As i am trying to follow this guide by the line for my first char reaching endgame, it would be nice to get some clarification on this. Thanks! |

" Your looking for anything not classified as a Warstaff so you can roll caster properties https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Staves If your just starting out save up like 20c and buy a 6 link Agnerod South imo then just save for either duskdawn or for crafting Last edited by HydrasOnAPlane#4806 on Dec 29, 2019, 5:00:26 PM

" you can ignore the linked flasks and instead follow his written recommendations, because linked flasks are not needed in some cases , like mana flask of heat for example (we are already immune to freeze, etc) also unique flasks like rumis concoction and atziris promise are very strong defense and damage flasks, he also recommends them, so dont have to have those 5 flasks exact in your list, the mana flask is also only for no regen maps for example, sometimes things like this can be a bit unintuitive if new to the game or if guide is not 100% clear etc, but yeah, id just reroll no regen maps instead of swapping a flask to mana flask :d im using these flasks from enkis recommendations for example, with some differences: works really well, altho basalt flask is really strong for physical damage mitigation, just personally I like to play more DPS focused / glass cannon xD, my biggest problem is chaos damage anyway, but yeah hope that helps anyway! " that mod is only for attacks yes, does not work with arc spell. Last edited by secret_service86#3947 on Dec 29, 2019, 5:47:37 PM

" Ohhh, okay, that makes sense. " Yea, this is literally my first time playing the game. I guess that's what I'm going to do. Thanks a lot! |

" if you like to play HC and SSF im not sure I would recommend this exact build, because things like chaos damage, crazy metamorphs, absolute endgame content etc will 100% kill you at some point no matter what with this build even with crazy investment in gear and currency even on a trade league, if you want to intentionally avoid those things then it will be easier to survive I guess :D but yeah the nature of this build (not that tanky, no chaos immunity, have to stand still to deal dps, etc) kind of makes life hard at the absolute endgame in this current state of the game and league mechanics.. minion builds like skeletons/spectres etc is pretty good for hc ssf in metamorph league, good even for softcore trade league, but if you really like hc ssf and like the build then its up to you of course, just trying to be realistic and honest :D I love enkis arc builds personally and played them since PoE 3.4 delve league but if I played hc ssf I would prob choose another build for that, idk :D even a10 kitava boss usually kills many new players even with tanky characters because they dont know the mechanics and so on, in my humble opinion this game is good to start in softcore and really really learn the mechanics of monsters and bosses and damage types/mods etc before going hc, especially hc ssf :P but good luck anyway and cheers! Why do we use leap instead of flame dash? is it just personal preference?
|

" flame dash can't proc fortify support gem since its a spell and not an attack, and fortify is a straight 20% less damage taken buff, from hits both physical and elemental/chaos, which is huge mitigation (does not help against damge over time though since that is not hits) flame dash also has charges and a cooldown (although flame dash still feels really good to use imo) anyway leap slam feels very smooth with a lot of increased attack speed on your gear and faster attacks linked to it , I also linked increased area of effect to it to proc fortify easier, dont have to land exactly on top of a monster but just have to land somewhat near it to proc fortify with this support gem :d Last edited by secret_service86#3947 on Dec 29, 2019, 6:58:20 PM
