I finally got access to the gem thingy in the temple and when I did it to an arc gem it upgraded it to lvl 21 but also made it a Vaal version. Is there any problem with that? I don't have to use the Vaal part of it if I don't want to. Or is there a reason that you don't want the Vaal version?
I have it in my skill bar and use it for at least 3 reasons.
- It is nice for Legion to get almost every one instant out of
- Cassia
- mob groups you cant kill with normal arc cause a totem
- screen full of random mobs
- ...

You're actually really lucky! A lvl 21 Vaal Arc is our ultimate goal for this gem, and the only way to get one aside from trading is the lapidary lens (that's what you used) or though a divination card. Use your level 21 Arc as normal but also keep the Vaal Arc on your skillbar because it's a huge damage boost against bosses and dangerous mobs (e.g. Legion, blighted maps).
Again, Vaal Arc is our friend and we ALWAYS want to eventually get a level 21 one. I paid 60 chaos early in the league to get one and have no regrets. I'm sure they're cheaper now.

Thanks, that makes sense.

Oh cool, I thought I did something wrong. Now if I can remember to use it. I still get one shotted occasionally because I forget to use the steelskin lol.

I got some gloves with the "of Puhuarte" suffix with +44% increased damage with hits against chilled enemies. We get that with our three dragons freezing, right?

The Queen's Hunger is a really good chest for this build, coming with high ES, Life, Cast Speed and two veiled modifiers. The Offerings occasionally grant attack- & spellblock chance, attack- & cast speed or ES. To make this work, socket Desecrate instead of Minion Life and use it occasionally. It can only drop from Catarina, Master of Undeath.
Is it me or the offering thing still work even when i dont have Desecrate? i mean the "offering" thing make us have a kind of elemental "spirit" above our head right? atm i only have a 5-link armor and dont have desecrate but the spirit still pop and change color (element) every 5 seconds...?
Well I also have the same situation with my build. I just switch desecrate with ice golem on 5 link west and it is still work all the ways.So desecrate is needles from this point or we just broke something ? ? ?
It's working perfectly fine. The Desecrate is only for cases if there is no corpse to be consumed, I guess.

According to Wiki, something that is frozen is also chilled, so in theory that should work. You'd have to configure and check PoB to be sure, though. While it's good to have that extra damage, it is obviously conditional and also not super useful against endgame bosses unless you're already doing enough damage to consistently keep them frozen--no easy task.

Where on Earth do you find room to fit Desecrate into this build, and is it really worth the constant extra input during and endgame boss fight? I'm willing to give it a try once I get QH to a 6L, but it is definitely a squeeze with 5 other buffs/debuffs we have to manually maintain (on top of flasks and golems).
I am legitimately curious, though!! I'm topping out a bit at the moment, at least until I have substantially more currency, and need to figure out next steps.

I found the reason for my extremely lack of damage towards end game. In path of building in act 3 he has you talent into elemental overload, which caps your crit multiplier at 100%. At the lvl 80 passive tree he has you remove elemental overload. My crit multi jumped to almost %300. Huge dps increase. Also once you get cinderswallow flask your survivability goes through the roof

I don't really need it except for Bosses...in maps there are enough corpses that don't shatter, thats why the buff is up 99% of the time. I use it only in the beginnig Phase of a Boss fight, for there is plenty of mobspawn during nearly every encounter. I placed it on the middle mouse button.
