2. Just focus on getting to maps, save your chaos orbs for map-tier gear (pretty much the "low budget" section of the guide). At 65 though you can already equip most of this so no need to wait. Level 65 is on the high side for A7.

3. Save alchs, chaos, and up for end-game trading or crafting. Don't be afraid to spend alterations, chromatics, and even the odd fusing (only use this to get a decent 4-link if you haven't already).

Hey! First time really diving into PoE and have really enjoyed this build. However, I'm struggling to get one of the core items for this build; the Three Dragons. I'm playing SSF. Is there any suggestions for trying to obtain this item? Or is it all just luck? Thanks in advance. :)

There's no information on how to otherwise obtain it on the wiki suggesting it has to be obtained as a straight drop.

You can attempt to chance it from the base type (Golden Mask), or do all your Einhars and try using bestiary unique helmet to get it.

Don't worry, I'll do that just as I did for the past few years this build exists, but not within the major patch cycle. It takes lots of analyzing feedback and testing around to see why people have issues me and some others don't seem to have, and what can be done to improve.

And lets not even talk about the horrible state Elementalist is in. Only thing I can do for now is explaining some parts better, which i'll do in a few days, the bigger part is up to GGG here.

If it helps at all, it seems as though the leech isn't good enough. A lot of my deaths are being caught out without much ES.

Also, chaos damage is a huge issue. And, well...it's everywhere right now. That's not unique to this build, though. It's to the point where I have a CI build with only 5.8k ES feeling like a juggernaut compared to this.

hi all and @Enki91, long post incoming lol, just wanted to share some thoughts+videos of some endgame content on this build with relatively cheap gear,and some of my progress with the build so far, just want to say best build and guide ever, played Enkis elementalists since 3.4 and will keep playing them !




no sirus yet but its coming and rest of guardians maybe also if someone want to see it later, have the option to fight sirus now in his citadel but have to prepare first with watching some videos of the fight etc :D




I didnt juice these maps really much, tried to vaal some of them for 8 map-mods but didnt get much luck with the juicing of mapmods in these testvideos, guardians not worth juicing at all I think either this league, idk!

so im right now at 146/154 atlas bonus and awakening level 5 with 20 watchstones, and let me just say that investing in chaos resist on gloves, amulet (anointed cleansed thoughts on amulet, it doubles chaos resist), and rings, to get chaos resist capped at 78% with loreweave without atziri flask active, made an EXTREME difference in survivability in red maps and max juiced metamorphs for me :D (or any chaos damage at all, even low tier canyon map chicken boss was wrecking me hard earlier, now they are a joke)


78/78/78/78 resistance just standing in hideout with no flask active is really nice to have :)



and im still glasscannon with quite cheap / bad gear in many slots still, with 4k hp and 1.3k ES lol, but the chaos res made an insane difference, like night and day,
any map and any map boss is more or less easy if played smart now , without build-breaking map mods of course lol.
metamorphs can be insanely difficult but again depends on map mods and what organs you select, have to be a bit smart, or yolo it and juice them to the max but be prepared for a crazy fight then :D (but in tanes laboratory it seems all metamorphs are really ez IDK why , even with high itemlevel organs they are nothing compared to metamorphs in maps, even without crazy mapmods they are much stronger in maps :S)






sirus and uber elder / shaper will probably be another story tho with their crazy HP amount in 3.9,
I think that gear/dps check will be somewhat of a brickwall for me,
mostly because of the nature of the build in that we have to stand still to deal damage,
not that tanky and the sustain is good except for the absolute endgame bosses I think now that they have so much HP, but we will see!





next upgrades for me will be better rings, better amulet, better jewels with both dmg and life, six link the weapon to get sixth link for golems,
(either minion life support gem for life or elemental army support gem for more dps) , awakened support gems for arc, +1 arc chain on helm, % life corrupt on soul tether belt, etc,
many many upgrades left, many exalts to farm :D more spell block somewhere, perfect rumi flask, better weapon and chest, etc etc..



some last thoughts, I found stone golem to be better for me than the chaos golem, because with stone golem I have like 440 life regen per sec, over 10% of my life pool, it really really helps,
with the chaos golem I found myself dying a lot more anyway as I was progressing through map tiers, so I switched to stone golem pretty fast and never looked back,


might change back to chaos golem later/now that I have some more dps and capped chaos resistance etc, will have to see! also didnt find that steelskin actually gave a lot of survivability except for here and there but it breaks so fast and often that I found myself going back to orb of storms, with culling strike+arcane surge instead for bosses and placing it strategically at the bosses instead, but I will keep testing steelskin and/or maybe some molten shell together with rumi flask instead could be good, idk! it will probably be needed in fights like sirus/uelder/shaper :/

PS my PoB and my gear used at this time if interest to anyone, nothing cost more than 1-2 ex at the time I bought it at least and sixlinked the chest myself with fusings early in the league while continuing farm with tabula rasa :D and ring+amulets are super cheap except the curse on hit ring but even that one is not a very good one!

also something I found out is if you link increased area of effect to leap slam/fortify, it will be much easier to proc fortify , dont have to land exactly on top of a monster just near them instead, makes it smoother and safer imo :d

Thanks! When do the maps "begin", so to say?
Like, should I just follow the guide until I finish all acts and only afterwards does the "end game" begin?

Heya! Love the guide. What are you people's thoughts on the body armor crusader prefix "when killed enemies explode and deal 3% of their health as physical damage"? Does it complete with the shaper spell crit? Would it be insane to try to get both?

Hi there! I'm really not good at this game but I've followed your guide. I'm currently level 75 and I'm having a hard time with magic packs, rares and bosses (metamorph too). Can you check my gear and tree and tell me what is missing or what could I do to upgrade it? My current currency right now is about 9 exalted.

Also ssf but not playing this build yet. Just had one drop in the beach tier 8.
