standing in hideout with 78 all res is nice and a quality of life for me at least, I enjoy mapping hard / juiced up t15-16 maps to farm currency and items more than bossing anyway, (also think if you only care about bosskilling, there are other stronger builds for that tbh)



having 78% all res including chaos is 12% less elemental/chaos damage taken compared to 75% , and with shakari pantheon its further reduced + poison immune and less caustic ground damage taken too, it made an *insane* difference in survival for me in any scenario where there is any chaos damage at all, breezing through t15-16 maps all day now :P



my thoughts for using cleansed thoughts anointment was i'd rather have capped chaos res at all times even when atziri flask is down/empty, instead of some crit multi or prodigal perfection which is also very strong, since I can always get more damage/crit multi on jewels later on, but I can never get a jewel that doubles my chaos res or gets me to cap like cleansed thoughts anointment, etc...

Personally, I am going to go for Soul of Steel for the additional physical damage reduction and increased max resistances. It's the most expensive anointment on the tree, though, so it's probably only worth it if you're not using Loreweave and you're going for physical damage reduction (i.e. using extra golems to maximize Chaos Golem's buff).

Cleansed Thoughts is an interesting decision. I have never considered investing in chaos resistance before, but secret_service86 may be right that it's a worthwhile investment this league!

i am new player for oil things. Which passive skill can be upgraded?

Hi all! Thank you Enki for this incredible build. Can someone take a look at my stuff and tell me where to start upgrading? I feel like I can't do higher maps (14s 15s...) and I was almost going to reroll yesterday. Thanks!

are then any passive traits e.g arcane will that would be useful to acquire by anointing with oils? looking at then i would think that arcane focus for energy shields would be ideal for the extra boost. please adivse of any that you think are suitable

Just look it up in the gear section (amulets) on the front page

I have difficulties to do the Cruel Lab, dying in like 5 seconds in the 3rd fight. I dont even understand half the mechanics in that fight, after spending like 2 hours watching videos, reading guides and poelab. So my questions are:

- can I just skip it for now (I am in Act7) and do it later or its mandatory?
- is there any good, simple to understand guides/advices about cruel lab? (I just started to play recently, its my first ever character and first cruel lab)
- is there any cheap "faceroll" build for beginners? I dont mind if its not good at end game, I just would like to get some experience with the game. (Being viable in SSF would be a great plus)

I came from D3 and this game feels way too hard for now. Spamming 3-4 skills and 4-5 flasks together while dodging everything (and also standing at the same place to be able to cast/channel) is just a bit too big of a stretch from D3. I am really thinking about to start again with something simpler, like a Necromancer or a tanky melee build...

It can wait, but do it before the final boss in Act 10..
Also it kinda normal for the first char to not be as good, because you know, you are learning the game :)

Hi! i would like to thank you for this wonderful build! this is my first ever character that has reached 500k dmg withou buffs :D
According to PoB with all buffs, flasks etc i could do in theory 1850958.3 dps against the shaper, but this League i did not drop even a single Yellow map :c
I've made a slight change to your build: instead of getting cobalt jewels or eyes i've taken the "whisper of doom" notable (+1 curse), thus enabling conductivity for an extra 200k dmg

this is my current equipment
any suggestion on how i could improve it? getting into boss fights without shields is very risky, it is my only concern.
