How do you make sure your minions hit the attack speed cap?

I see on your set up you have attack speed on your gloves, is that mandatory?

Attack Speed
Mirrors are capped at 10 attacks / 5.7 seconds. You simply cannot make them attack faster, even if you use Haste/Vaal Haste/Flesh Offering/Quill Rain. Make sure the minions' attack speed hits the cap, and then stop worrying about it.

If you have a 1.7 aps Lioneye's Glare and all of the minion attack speed nodes from my skilltree, you should be able to hit 10 attacks/5.7 seconds.

Gloves won't affect your minions' attack speed. Only your bow, quiver, minion attack speed nodes, and Flesh Offering/Haste/Vaal Haste / Faster Attacks support gem.

Thanks. I should have known that. I assume the Attack Speed on gloves is just a quality of life for the split arrow?

Yup, IAS is pretty unnecessary. I'd actually recommend Voidbringer as a midtier glove option now, since it's become so cheap.

345 IIR/38 IIQ with Divination Distillate up. Character's a bit squishy (Although I found a Taste of Hate, that helps!) and getting the dex required for Lioneye's is a bit of a pain.

I am currently using your build in HC league. This is by far the most fun and thought out build I've played so far. Though I personally dissagree with your HC skill tree, I think I managed to make the most of it.

Phase run is used both as a means to lose tons of agro in case stuff goes wrong. It also allows me to open doors (with a mirror arrow in front of it) and chests with reduced risk. Casting phase run mid air during blink arrow seems to reduce the cast speed a bit (It's near instant). The skill effect increase is just icing on the cake.

If I'm using blink arrow to move backwards, and again, while casting mirror arrow mid air, it allows me to place mirror arrows off screen. This massively boosts the range and safety of this build. For annoying bosses and monsters, I can phase run in, blink backwards and place a mirror arrow off screen. Great potential there.

Carefull Planning and Conqueror's Efficiency are mandatory. The other jewel has some hp, resistances and dex (Even with Carefull planning, getting enough dex seems to be problematic)

Unnatural calm seems better than Foresight earlier, getting them both allows for more armor based gear, which will scale nicely with armor ES nodes.

Energised Armor probably has potential (80% increase of armor) but will cost 2 useless skill nodes. Is still being under review really, could easily drop the aura inceases for the survivability.

Two big con of this build degenerations and chaos damage; MOM does not handle degens at all, chaos damage bypasses the ES. Chaos resistance therefor is pretty important.

I do wonder, are there other things i've missed or should at least try? Any tips? Upgrades? Good tree jewels?

Your gear looks amazing, especially the chest! I admire your endgame tree as well, you've really managed to squeeze out all the %armour that you can.

If you can fit in a Voidbringer, or get a +1 to socketed gems corrupted glove, that could give you a slight dps boost. You can also craft %minion damage onto gloves. For faster map clearing you can also swap out one of the arrow setups with Spectres, although I've always hated relying on Spectres and think it's a waste of the investment we made on our mirror/blink arrows.

Otherwise, there's not much else that armor can achieve for you defensively or offensively. It's kind of like SRS - the only way to improve now is to get 6-links. As I and others have mentioned in previous posts, you could also focus your efforts on getting MF. Or, if you're a true innovator, you can try to figure out a way to make this build Low-Life :]

Hit 85 in 1MSC so I'm done with this build for now. Had an amazing time with it. I would (and have) recommend it to anyone.

The alphas setup was mostly just because I bricked my minion helm and I was running with someone that tossed me a free alphas. It seemed to be mostly a wash because I put on discipline (in the clutch 1blue in my bow) to make up the lost ES. An extra level on my auras was nice but not huge as far as I can tell. Without a +2 the zombies weren't tanky enough to be useful so I've got a random cull setup. My personal playstyle didn't get much use out of zombies so I didn't notice it but your mileage may vary. To deal with map bosses and such I just popped vaal grace and my clones tanked them in the few seconds the boss lived through my damage output.

Would have liked a +1 curse amulet combined with temp chains corruption on boots but couldn't manage to hit either of those.

I think there's more potential in this build still using an optimized alphas (or maybe vertex?) setup or even lowlife. It would be neat to explore but I tend to not continue builds past their leagues.

Edit: I did switch the links on my alphas to 3/1 so I could benefit from my own vaal grace which was a very solid change.

Edit2: I end league vaaled an uncolored 5l lioneyes and hit +1 arrow. Seems pretty insane but I'm not going to spend the chromes/vaals to color it.

Gonna use this build for the upcoming 5-week league cause it looks both fun and good enough not to feel retarted when compared to other FOTM builds. :D

Just some questions:
a)Do you recommend going life/evade and some mana nodes for the new league? Seems to be easier to do considering I won't be able to get anything good for some time. Or is the MoM/ZO variant actually more survivable and manageable when it comes to sustaining casting costs, even in a new league?

b)Was gonna ask about why both arrows linked with trap, but answered it myself. Didn't know it worked that way :P

c)Victario's Influence/Alpha's Howl and possibly more auras. Yey or nay?

I think the EB route is better because it's the easiest way to reserve both Anger and Wrath. We need both auras desperately in order to do decent dps in maps.

Victario's is a very average item for this build. Your clones really want to be 5-linked in the bow and chest. It could be a stepping stone while you're still using Deerstalker, but not very endgame viable.

Furthermore, there's not many extra auras that you want to use with Generosity. Anger, Wrath, Arctic Armour. Can't use Hatred very effectively because we're using Elemental Equilibrium. Haste doesn't accomplish anything because the clones are attack-speed capped.

If ES sustain is an issue in the new league, use a Restless Ward with EB/ZO.
