Content Update 2.1.0 Patch Notes
Amazing, simply amazing... :( I expected the Nerf stick to hit Incinerate, but WOW! That hit puts it to sleep forever, imo. This happened to my old Righteous Fire build too, unfortunately. I can't see any "balance" in this, I believe that it's just over the top. But anyways, I guess we just carry on regardless.. Ah well, it looks like a new build is on the cards. I have no idea what though. Maybe a flower throwing tinkerbell ? :) Damn! What a crazy game this is. |

" i dont know the exact numbers or exactly how the addtive damage works, but lets just say that pierce gem at level 1 adds 200 damage. and we will say that base cloud damage is 2000. 2000+200=2200 - pierce ok we dont know full gem stats for the new ones but we do know its 20% more damage at level 1 so 2000x.20 = 400 so 2000+400 = 2400 like i say i really do not know how much "additive damage" that pierce and culling add but im pretty sure the multipiers will far outdo them. |

This is the first significant patch post where I can say... overall, they seem like good and helpful changes. Like, actually balancing bosses?! Shocked. Taking 1.5x more patch note damage.

One change I'd still like to see is to make quality on Flameblast revert back to 'chance to ignite'.

Sadly, Coc only got a buff, so it will still be the GoTo skill for any want to be spellcaster. Just pick up a Vagan dagger and you are better off then manually casting that shit.
Cyclone + cast on crit and any mix of GMP/lmp + 3/4 spells is still much, much better than spell+spell echo plus some useless supports.. /( Also, no news about the AOE nerfs? I guess that some spells like Cold Snap will be totally missed here to receive a much needed buff? Good to see Incin got a nerf. I think with the new tree and support gems, it willbe "on par" with normal spells. So still no where near CoC... Don't Touch my Sweep please GGG!

" look at it like this - like you said let's assume PA used to do 2000 at lvl 20 lets say you had +200% dmg from tree and add pierce damage to that so another +69% 2000*2,69 = 5380 dmg - so this would be the old case. Now with the changes Your PA would deal 42% less damage at lvl 20. So the base damage is 2000*0,58 = 1160, after that we add our 200% dmg from tree - 1160*2 = 2320 and then the more damage from new gem - lets say its 29% more damage (like slower projectile) 2320*1.29 = 2992 and and that is actually a lot less. That being said these calculations are based on the assumption that the new gem provides 29% more damage - and that the PA base damage is actually reduced 42% at lvl 20 Last edited by Elfenyu#7296 on Dec 9, 2015, 3:52:50 AM
