You guys dont have a clue what you are doing. The way you balance this game is outrageous. Please, hire guddah and havoc. I think we would gadly play a monthly fee to play the game. NP, just stop destroying it please. It hurt me so much see this decadency you are bringing to the game. Can you please make a pool in the site if we would like to pay to play the game? Cast speed on Temporal Chains?
Are you stupid ? I use Temp. chains since beta, but now its useless for me. I will explain that: I use it as curse on CWDT (gem level 3) with Temp. chains gem level 7, so that CWDT works good. With 20% quality it was (before this patch) 33% slower and was fine balanced. Only 23% slower is much to low to use it longer, not worth to block a curse slot and a CWDT socket. I use Blood Magic keystone, so Blasphemy is no option for me. I really hate this changes... REALLY !!! RIP, Temporal Chains :( For me, you can patch it out of the game now. I like you work but sorry, now i wish Patch 2.1.0 was never released. The cake is a lie

Nerfing survivability of 99.99% players because of a single abusive player using extremely expensive and hard-to-find end-game gear?
And all that in a hotfix? Keep going with these decisions poe and you'll manage to lose 80% of your player base just like Runescape did. |

" Listen to this guy ! He only has no idea about the game :D.. Reason why Blasphemy is 100% effectiveness is that you lose 35% of mana pool. welp... it's easier just to think this game is in a state of constant beta when stuff like this happens. a fringe case using very specific gear = let's take gems loads of people use and nerf them to the ground. the changes also look like they took microseconds to think of: cast speed on a curse that people slow the screen with or apply it on hit, reduced crit multi on a curse that already lowers monster damage and accuracy... there's no point even using blasphemy anymore (35% lol) and you only introduced it last week.

Why not give all curses +1% increased Area of Effect radius per 1% quality? It is the same reason after all why all aura's have it. Because it's way easier to balance.

GGG. Like, really. The same thing happened when people discovered ghost busting and made a lot of currency in no time. You could hard cap amount of mobs affected by a single ghost touch to like 5-15 and make only one touch per mob count, so it will directly touch those exploiting. No, you decided to nerf ghost touch IIR and IIQ, thereupon nerfing it also for people that were not exploiting. Ghudda showed you one more time that he knows your game better than you, exploiting strategy (that was in the game for god knows how long) which needs certain rare items and a lot of preparation. Your reaction? Amazingly bad, absurdly awful. With curse quality nerfs you showed massive disrespect for many players, who were carefuly preparing their builds since beginning of talisman league.

This really should have been balanced by some type of a cap to slow effects and possibly slightly lowering gem effectiveness or quality of temp chains and enfeeble. Enhance is now completely worthless with its last use case removed.
It seems crazy to me that it took a Ghudda video to realize that this was possible... Level 6 enhance + empower on 21/20 or 20/23 gems with max curse effectivenes should obviously be something you balance curse gems around since it's the max effectiveness that can be achieved for that curse. Hopefully in a subsequent patch a well thought out solution to this problem can be implemented. I also hope that gem quality can be looked at again in general. Other than faster casting, faster attacks and gems with projectile speed quality, I find that it is never worth actually using a gcp now. It's certainly never worth leveling enhance. |

How is it that we have 11 pages of people who all realize the obvious right answer was a hard cap, the "broken" build was not achievable by 99% of players, these changes are idiotic for the average user, and not a single response from GGG either explaining or going, "my bad, we're going to change it this way instead"?
Seriously, every time you guys knee-jerk change things to account incorrectly for edge-cases like this and stop down the average player it becomes tougher and tougher for me to want to fire up PoE again. I've already literally lost my entire group to other games because they got sick of it and can't in good conscience recommend it to anyone in the state it's in, so.....are you going to get your priorities straight or should the rest of us jump ship, too? |
