Put her in a sling or carrier and go for a walk
Swaddle her in a light blanket
Calmly suggest that OP builds are not normal
Create "white noise" by running the shower or the vacuum cleaner
If she is overstimulated, take her to a quiet room
Ignore the crying and continue making an awesome game even better
Rock her
Sing to her, talk to her, or make loud "shh" noises while keeping her in your arms
Wait 3 months for a new batch of OP cookie cutter builds to nerf and do it all again...

Ive never understood how people can turn in a madman just because of a few stats, its not like the borked the whole game.
I don't use any of the mentioned items except for bino's but I have no use for the crit multiplier there anyway. still, I think it would be fair to find a way to let players divine their corrupted items. it's not like they're set in stone anymore anyway like it was when vaal orbs were first introduced. add a vorici option for divine orbs maybe? bricking corrupted items that didn't brick doesn't seem particularly fair to me.

as for GGG not changing the values themselves: I don't think it is technically possible (without having to change every single item manually). I remember GGG stating something like that when legacy items were first discussed on here.
hes angry for a reason because in their crusade to nerf the old crit multi items, they made a large number of players collateral damage. and who the fuck are you to say if someone needs a doctor or not?

their starting idea about nerfing crit multi was good, but they need to do it appropriately and fix the items that they said should not be nerfed.

also, some dont understand (GGG devs seem to be of those) but theres a big underlying issue that makes some players quit. rpg players want a sense of completion, they like upgrading their chars and many of them want to create the perfect char and only THEN play with others! constant nerfing removes that aspect, and those players will leave because they know nothing they create is guaranteed. sense of completion is something an rpg game MUST HAVE, without that it loses its sense. its like going to gym and knowing you wont get any muscle, so why go to gym in the first place?

you are probably the first person to actually understand someone's problem even though he doesnt have it! most people are like "hey, i dont have that problem, fuck those who do cause they are rich anyway"

and if GGG cant change the value themselves, i think it would be good to post and say that :( because people wouldnt get so mad if someone from GGG actually came and said "we cant really fix that, we are sorry but you have to blessed/divine items but theres just no other way"

saying nothing will piss people off i think :(

So players didn't understand how to get a chance at dropping +2 maps and you made it more clear by making it boss only and then they didn't understand how crit multi worked and you made it clearer by nerfing it and bricking thousands of items,some costed up to 300 ex to obtain.

The sacrifices you had to make at GGG are remarkable,must be hard to have customers with such learning disabilities...
I'm just reading this thread for entertainment now. Quite fun.

If GGG just decided to change all legacy uniques to the current versions and never made legacy uniques again, most of these problems would be solved.

Never saw a mirror, never had a mirrored item, don't care.
The "mirror-original" owners must be having a field day right now :)

In my opinion, mirrors were a mistake to put into the game in the first place.
