" Congratulations on missing the point completely! ;) This time the nerfs are fine and not the problem. The problem starts with "you have to reroll your items". But rerolling items still wouldn't be THAT bad but telling people they have to reroll while everyone and their grandmother knows that it is not even possible to reroll corrupted or mirrored items is beyond stupid and ruthless. It is as unfair as it can be! And therefore the rage is more than justified. Really excited about all of the changes in this patch except... What the fuck is with this crit multi situation?
Really pisses me off that they're essentially saying that everyone with existing crit multi items has to basically sink a bunch of divine orbs for no reason at all. That's not an actual balance change, because crit multi is just as powerful as it was before, it's just punishing people's existing crit builds and having no effect on future crit builds. Seems like a real dick move, and something that I wouldn't expect from a company like GGG that I usually trust to make smart decisions in these sorts of areas. Why not just automatically update the items to the new crit multi values? Or just not even make the change in the first place? It seems the only benefit to the change is making it marginally simpler to new players to figure out what a crit multi item will do for them. So why attach some weird sorta-but-not-really-nerf that just functions as an unnecessary currency sink and has no real effects on actual game balance? I'm a fairly casual player and barely have a few exalts to my name, I can't afford to use divine orbs to reroll my Bino's and all my rares. So essentially you've just kinda dicked me down, and the people who have enough currency to reroll their 250k dps crit characters will just pay the fine and move on. Sadly, all other players now have to pay for ignorance of aforementioned lazy stupid fuckers. And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. " Did the explain if it will have the old value(not range) updated entirely, or will it update and then roll a different value than it was before(Ex.:30% before = 45% now or 20-30% . 1.5 = x)?
