Content Update 2.3.0 Patch Notes
Those technical improvements alone are worth the rest of whatever you add. If they help even 25% it will be amazing. Might have to throw you guys a supporter pack purchase if it actually ends up helping.

I am particularly interested in what the experience penalty is for running 82 maps at level 99. I realize core has a +40% expected bonus due to pack size, but like... if the penalty became as harsh as level 79 maps at 99 used to be, then ugh, that is terrible, please stop.
I guess we have to wait until after the patch for someone to tell us the new real numbers? The formula should just come out with patch notes ;_; |

Does Hexproof replace current curse immunity on rare/unique monsters or is it added in addition to it?

They are not doing balance, balance would be a massive endeavour in a game such as PoE with so many interacting factors, items, stats, keystones, skills, supports, #links, multipliers, debuffs, buffs.... GGG do imbalance, on purpose, it's known as forced meta. Why attempt the impossible and have several hundred balance issues when you can just greatly imbalance a few which get the limelight and everything else is forgotten? It also gives the impression of 'good theorycrafting' rather than the players having a million assets to try to theorycraft powerful combinations with, they get the obvious choices thrown in their face to work with. Available in any colour, as long as it's black.
I perfectly get that PoE is a game of perfect imabalance/meta shifting imbalance over time (i am have been enjoying this game for a long time as you maybe can see at the date of my account creation) I just wanna make a point: - I really enjoy the "imbalance system over time GGG created in the past" - I absolutly don't enjoy super broken stuff which trivializes the endgame, makes oneshots possible and trivial, stuff that makes you basically immune for 98% of the time playing and insane power creep without any content to match it properly There is huge difference in things/mechanics beeing "imbalanced" or "breaking and trivializing the game" in my understanding. PoE is a great game and it is disheartening for someone like me (and i am sure i am not the only one thinking that way) in what direction this game has gone in terms of endgame balance and challenging content. I am even one of those people who love the labyrinth and the whole concept of it (the only thing that hold me back doing it more often were performance issues, which will likly be gone in 2.3) I think GGG isn't aware of the fact how much difficulty and challenging content add to marketing their product - i think their product depends largly on that for the long term health of the game, motivating new players to join and preventing old players from leaving more quickly.
Just to point out, 'perfect imbalance' is something entirely different. That's like your rock-paper-scissors thing, PvP stuff, really. Where imbalances each have a counter which in turn has a counter....etc. GGG just does raw, in your face, this is the OpieOP, do eet, imbalance.
++1 Sounds like you made many not happy, Hopefully it does not sux as bad as as it made out to be. Parties sux it is like being in grade school again, name calling and such. If solo is not playable I am out. Please consider a 3rd challenge league for solo play at least it is a fair opportunity for all not counting bots and exploits==at least the profiteers will not be there without the trade and the 20 person parties will not be hitting 100 there. Not all is bad plenty of exploits left to exploit??? |

I question the sanity of expecting anyone to pay 5 chaos for 3 shrines and no IIQ for any purpose but getting shrine challenges or uniques, especially when Torment and Bloodlines are both cheaper and provide IIQ, and Bloodlines comes with 50% more blues.
I will also restate that I wish Ascendancy had gone the way of Perandus instead of rebalancing everything to expect you'd endured the tedium of lab, because it's boring as hell and very much unappreciated as required content. There is nothing exciting about unbalanced, mostly YOLO'able traps and artificial extra vulnerability to connection issues, which is about all lab amounts to, and the class-specific trees detract strongly from the nature of the otherwise-global passive skill tree in the first place. Perandus would have been better to keep than lab, because it has much less adverse effect on the enjoyability of the game for me. I certainly hope you at least fixed the weird near-constant lag on the lava traps. They're worse than Perandus packs. Anyone know if Prophecy is intended to be kept in the main game after the league? I'm going to roll my eyes if this gets kept while Cadiro doesn't. People who don't like the Labyrinth are not a minority: Be heard - say you don't like it in your signature. Don't leave complaining about lab to others - GGG needs to see how many people dislike it. Ascendancy must be gated on true ARPG content, not a poorly-crafted internet Legend of Zelda wannabe.

" Coming from the devs who expected people to pay 3 exalts for a single map with the content that was free in the current temp leagues. Questioning sanity, at this point? Casually casual.
