So it's in the clear in memory on your computer, big deal. Debugging ANYTHING that uses a password will get you that, if you know what you're doing.

The password isn't sent in the clear over the internet, so this is irrelevant, if people are getting their passwords hacked because their systems are compromised, it goes back to that people being "stupid" thing.

Because people that deny responsibility are the ones at fault, the sooner you own up to your problems, the better off you'll be. If you're absolutely certain it wasn't your fault, you'll end up in one of two places, either you actually did grab a map hack and you learned your lesson, or you'll get pwned again in a phishing attempt that you're too ignorant to recognize. It's really that simple.

And for the record, I have no problems getting and keeping friends in real life, I can be just as abrasive there, though. Some people appreciate honesty, no matter how brutal is can come across.

I don't think anyone is arguing that there aren't hackers at work. The question is which is easier, finding an exploit in a game that allows you to steal people's passwords, or setting up a simple phishing scheme/website or put together a fake map hack that logs your keypresses. The simple answer is usually the right one. If GGG admitted they had an exploit (and I'm fairly certain they'd have plenty of data to find correlation if it was something as simple as people in the same instance as a hacker or something similar) then I'd have your backs as much as I could, the bottom line is GGG is very confident that it isn't their fault, and that's good enough for me to trust them.

tl;dr dissapointed in the community because they are accusing and incriminating all the victims and saying it is their fault. Showing no empathy to the ones that are extremely sad right now, knowing that 1 month plus of hardwork was just gone.

alright dude, im just gonna stop trying to talk with you, it is clear that our philosophies are different, i just hope that whatever happened yo you, or what affected you to make you think that all people are bad, can one day be changed. I do truely wish that one day you will have hope in other humans, honestly even though i was hacked, i do not blame the hackers who hacked my account because i know that is the way that some of them live, and it is a livestyle that they have chosen, what i am quite unhappy about is the insensitivity that the people were not hacked have given the victims who were hacked.

I think you're confusing being honest with being arrogant and condescending. That is, in fact, not the same thing. You're also quite ignorant, and clearly not aware of it.

My biggest concern is educating people so they don't get hacked. If you really want to make me happy, learn from your mistakes. If you're confident you didn't make a mistake, I'm sorry, but you did, figure out what it was and don't make it again.

I don't care what you think, the game isn't some easy egg to crack, if you're complaining about GGG not being secure enough, use logic for 2 seconds and answer the question why no one at the top of the leaderboards is getting hacked (outside of prozon, who was a solitary attack, based on the attacker knowing his email address because he streams it all the time). That's where a vast majority of the wealth is at, you'd think they'd be the first targets if it wasn't relying on something much simpler like phishing/fake hacks + keyloggers/etc.

The problem is ignorant people aren't even realizing why they're getting hacked. If you sit here and deny, deny, deny, you're just opening the door for your ignorance to get you hacked again. My best advice is pretend for a second it is your fault, and learn how it COULD have been your fault, and protect yourself from those vulnerabilities. Chances are you'll never find out exactly why it was your fault.

Also, Java 7 has had 2 updates that have left huge security holes. I hate Java.

a passwrod that he said scored 90% on what james said was a trusted testing website?

educate me on that please, cause unless i make a new 2,000 char password like kripp james can just crack my pass in 30secs.

edit: why can;t u jsut say something like: sorry you were hacked bro, at least GGG is going to implement a program soon where even if your pass was stolen hopefully the hacker wont be able tot take anythiong.
