Hey, what extra auras do you use for low life? I'm using vulnerability and temp chains blaphemy, and discipline and clarity.

Vulnerability from witchfire brew is enough, if you want you can also have not-linked vulnerability to selfcasting it in case of empty flask. If you go tricurse - go for blasphemy temp chains + enfeeble.

On blood magic is discipline+arctic armour

Hey everyone,

I decided to give FNM a try and I think I have found my new favorite skill in the game. It starts out super clunky, but as you slowly pick up the most important QoL nodes on the tree, it gets smoother and smoother.
I actually play this build as a Saboteur (yes I know) because Occultist is like my least favorite Ascendancy, even though it's (most likely) weaker. Not planning on doing everything the OP can do.

Anyway, as I approach level 70 soon I bought a white Hubris with the FNM enchant, chaos spammed it, and after 5-10 tries got this bad boy:

It even has an open suffix, for the triple res dream. I'm gonna slam it once I bought a 6L Incandescent Heart, but the cheapest one is 5ex currently..

You probably already know it, but i'll still say it:

Saboteur is awful with that build!

The reason being are: 1) the only one ascendancy that isn't awfull is demolition specialist, and it's only make your life smoother through mine arming speed, but it's definitely not so worth it.
2) as continuation of (1) it's because it is elemental damage centered. If you want to play saboteur, you'll probably shouldn't use chaos/poison version. that way small nodes will become somewhat viable (althrough i think that nothing can compare with increase ES), and you can get sweet additional elemental res penetration

On the other hand - just look at occultist!

Wicked ward is pretty much vaal discipline with even additional 100 flat ES. It's already overpowered, especially for builds without leech.

void beacon -20% chaos res aura. Already better than additional elemental penetration of saboteur

Profane bloom - 10% MORE damage modifier. It's not flimsy increase modifier, can't be overestimated.

Malediction... well, curses are great, and occultists can handle those without great investments.

and even have tons of ES increases on small ascendancy nodes.

Well, i just don't know why you don't like such awesome ascendancy class, but ok - i guess everyone have their preferences.
I just want to mention that samoteur can't support that character at all (as i said before - only 1 ascendancy point that boost character is too weak, not to mention that even that point isn't greatest).
If you just don't like occultist, you can probably build great crit assassin. It can give you cap crit and 100% more poison damage modifier on crits. Will be much stronger than saboteur weakling.

Great helm by the way.

Yup, I knew everything you said already but lemme say this: This is first miner. Ever. I tried it a couple of times and always HATED it. I went with Saboteur for two reasons:
1) Aesthetics. Shadow is my favorite class and the Saboteur portrait looks really cool -> PURE FLUFF REASON RIGHT THERE
2) Clunkyness. The Saboteur is without a doubt the smoothest way to play a miner. I just wanted to get comfortable with a mine build first before I bring out the big guns (aka the Occ) later. This is just the start of a whole series of Fire Nova Mine characters.
And your build brought all of this upon so thank you very much!

P.S. Also: 66 PULSES

It's not my build by the way, autor is "Worst_Luck", i just often answer the questions here :D
Hi! I was reading the incoming nerf to double dipping. To me it sounds like it will be a big loss of DPS for that build. Not a problem for map mobs that we instant kill but for strong bosses like guardians or shaper...What do u think?
How do you get enough strength to use the Tremor rod? I only have like 55 strength at level 52...

Double-dipping poison is the core of this build. I don't think it will still be useful after nerf, but hey.... you can't say for sure before we'll see new patch.

Get some heavy belt with +strength suffix. Together with its base strength affix it can grant enough just by itself.
Also, you can get strength on accessory, about 50 on 1 item is pretty common.
And lastly, you have "Physique" node in skill tree (+30 str), if you need it. You can just refund it later.
