Hrimsorrow: No longer has Increased Evasion Rating mod. Now has 40-50 Evasion Rating. Physical Damage converted to Cold mod increased to 50%. Cold Resistance mod increased to 20-30%. Now has (5-7) to (13-15) Added Cold Damage to Spells and Attacks.

I'm confused, I thought underused uniques were being buffed to be more usable? This change makes this rarely used niche unique into a useless garbage unique. The added cold damage to spells completely guts the ability to use Elemental Equilibrium which was the strongest point of using these gloves. You use lightning damage to lower the cold res, hit with a giant cold hit which lowers fire res for the fat ignite. Now you can't do that since all your spells have cold damage. There's no reason to ever use these gloves anymore.

And yet Chris will proudly proclaim PoE doesn't have power creep.

Give me a break. Some of the buffed items used to be really good. Now they are considered shit in that same form. So better buffed them up to catch up with the power creep we introduced in the last 2 years.

Aoe skill + conc effect = single target skill.

I don't see Frost Blades mentioned anywhere, but I heard from Chris it was being buffed to usable levels? He said it was going to grant 60% of phys as cold, instead of 40%.

TL;DR

Woohoo, my planned starter build got a tiny nerf but I doubt it'd be noticeable. No buffs to it, but that's fine.

Once I'm a month in and rich, I can see what else is working well and jump on board.

Removed the invulnerability buff applied to Izaro when he is waiting to flee from his arena. This fixes an issue where Izaro would attack, but couldn't be attacked back, preventing Life Leech.
