Don't "need" but I believe it increases zombie damage with 2.
Hey Guys, started this build a few days ago and this is my setup:

Still trying to get rings with minion movement speed and strength. So far single target is really high, the way I am doing it is the following.

So I decided to go for phys/poison damage scaling. Bought a Severed in Sleep that will soon turn into United in Dream to get that sweet Envy Aura. Scaling the phys damage of my zombies with Montregul's Grasp, Melee Physical Damage Gem and Lion's Roar unique flask. Scaling the Chaos damage of my zombies with the Poison on hit from severed in sleep, added chaos gem, Atziri's promise's "phys as extra chaos(25% of phys as extra chaos)", the vulnerability curse + increased damage over time from Witchfire Brew, and when I get a 6 Link I will probably use Void Manipulation gem. After all that Phys and chaos scaling I then also use Spirit Offering which grants a whopping 30% of phys as extra chaos(in total the zombies deal about 55% of their phys as EXTRA chaos damage, which is huge for scaling the poison DOT). All of this phys and chaos damage is then boosted with my Wither Totem and a Vaal Lightning Trap. This setup allows me to practically melt bosses


Here is the big BUT(no pun intended), the overall clear speed of the build is really slow, Zombies are really stupid and sometimes they have an enemy right in their faces and they won't attack it unless I cast something. Even with all this minion movement speed in rings and even the minion speed gem + the quicksilver flask that applies to my zombies with Umbilicus the build overall feels like a huge waste of money for what it ends up being able to do(All the content, albeit really slowly) . Keep in mind that this build is a really good boss killer, but as a map clearer it feels horrible to play, maybe you could try something like this if your only idea is to farm endgame bosses, then it should work wonders.

That's it from me guys, please if you have any suggestions or comments about what can i do to increase the clear speed of the build then please let me know, i really don't want to throw the character away and start leveling a Mathil build lol.

I've got commander of darkness, spirit eater and Flesh Binder. Should i refund flesh binder and go for mistress of sacrifice ?
This is by far the best class I have ever played. So much fun and really seems to bring summoner back. Wondering what is good to use until you hit lvl 60ish.

Just got to 1007 str at level 69.

I have played many different summoner builds and I'm really enjoying this one.

Lots of room for improvement in my gear. Also as soon as I hit merciless I started mapping instead of progressing. Still have several passives to grab in merc.

I'm dual wielding Mon'tregul's and United. Works well. Only tricky part is getting your resists capped without a shield. United's leech is great for tough mobs/guardians but Severed in Sleep would work just as well for every other situation.
I've been having so much fun with this build. I'm 86 right now with 5.2k life and 4k ES running SRS, Zombies, and Animate Guardian. I cleared up to T13 so far. I only sitting at 1116 str right now, but with a few more points I will be able to hit 1.2k. I'm running Haste and Purity of Elements, and it's fast enough already. I hate re-summoning the specters, so I'm running Animate Guardian instead. I will have to add Vaal Haste, but I've been pretty lazy. I also haven't used any Brawn jewels yet, might have to add 1 or 2 to hit 1.2k.

Hello.
I don't understand how you get +40 INT in radius for the Violent Dead jewel at Scion start.
I have read that its Ok even if Int nodes are not allocated but all I see in the whole radius is one +10 INT node, nothing more.
What am I missing please ?
