Exactly. The belt would be the last item I would change, while helmet being the first. A decent rare helmet should provide:
30+ dex/str/int - whatever you're missing 90+ life 40%+ cold res 15%+ chaos res Everything else is just a bonus. Latest guides:

Great guide Rico, I'm looking at this for my 2nd build for harbinger, after a frost blades raider i'm looking for something tanky to finally not explode in a cloud of blood whenever an enemy barely scratches me lol.
I have a couple of questions that i hope you could help with. 1) Why aren’t we investing more in RF? If we decide to go with a rare helm instead of alpha’s howl we could get the 30% MORE ele dmg essence craft, and have a de-facto 5-link RF there. RF + burning dmg + ele focus + controlled destr/inc aoe/conc effect would be the links I imagine. Wouldn’t this be a massive dps boost for very little investment? (points and gem slots wise, not chaos ofc lol) 2) I’m really torn between running 3 purities w an enlighten (no need for alpha’s howl or reservation nodes in this case) vs dropping purity of ice and running instead grace + getting iron reflexes on tree. The armour boost is massive, but then we need alpha’s howl (mana reservation nodes seem really hard to het, we are really too much starved for points). With some changes to the tree we should still be able to cap all resists even with saffel’s instead of rise of the phoenix. This would also lower RF dmg due to helm as said above. What’s your opinion? I see you run triple purities but with around 5k hp it seems a bit iffy not to have armour for an extra layer of mitigation, especially now that we can deal w ele weakness maps with a remove curse flask. 3) I'm thinking that to economize on gem slots we could run on the 6-link: cyclone + shield charge + fortify + faster atks + blood magic + whatever between additional accuracy/life gain on hit/culling strike/onslaught. This would mean dropping leap slam (don’t want to dedicate an extra link just for it) but I could probably live with it. 4) What's your opinion on the counterattack gems (ie vengeance I think)? I never used them, are they good to run in parallel to a cwdt set-up? Or is it just better to run 2 cwdt links? We have a 4-link and a 3-link open for these. 5) Seeing the above I’m thinking about something like this for the tree (intuitive leap for the jewel slot in the templar area, grabbing ofc the charge nodes and the life nodes). " Don't forget that Mjolner requires 412 str and 300 int to equip as well. You'll have to get quite a bit on jewels/ring/helm to make up the difference. |

" I was comenting upon that in the video guide and basically you can reach around 16k armor with that setup while investing 8 points in the passive tree. With good rare helmet you can drop PoI and run quality Blasphemy - Enfeeble setup with both PoF and PoL having that 8 passive point spent into life. 5.2k hp with 16k armor is worse than 6k hp with Enfeeble via blasphemy imo. " You can do that. However I did slightly different setup in the final build: 1) Rare helmet with life and cold res: Cyclone - FA - Fortify - Blood Magic 2) 5l Kingsguard: PoF - PoL - Enlighten - 20/20 Blasphemy - Enfeeble 3) Saffels: Leap Slam - Shield Charge - FA 4) Repentance: Immortal Call setup 5) Inyas boots: RF - Inc Burning - Ele Focus - Conc eff " Not worth occupying gem slots with them in the end-game build. " Final build has now 6k life pool with all those defences: + High max resistances + around 6k armor + Fortify with increased effect + Long duration Immortal Calls + 500+ life regen + Almost positive chaos resistance + Enfeeble - Blasphemy setup + Pantheon bleed immunity and additional phys dmg reduction + Crazy life recovery via Kingsguard Take a look at the newest PoB summary for Shaper: BTW: tree that you posted has to little int on it, also you dont need Unwavering Stance as a cyclone based build (cannot be stunned while cycloning). Yeah I was thinking of covering the stats with jewels but it seems a bit irrealistic. Hm so enfeeble in the end should be better than armour + an offensive curse (ele weakness i think)? Do you think that instead of running the curse on blasphemy if we put it in a cwdt setup it will still work ok (maybe with blade vortex + curse on hit)? Or it isn't reliable enough? " Blasphemy is a safer option for sure. And it cannot be reflected. Just bough this and throwed my Devoto through the window: Its not perfect (perfect would be armor version) but will do for now. Updated the guide with my current gear and gems. Now only missing 5l on Kingsguard for aura setup with enlighten and some lvls on both character and gems. Build is working very well so far with my most current setup. EDIT: I min-maxed the build. Latest PoB pastebin and screenshot added to the guide. Small change to the final lvl 92 tree, added the new tree to the guide. Now build has more life regen, more AoE and more dmg! While still going for over 6k life pool with all those defences. EDIT2: Also added info regarding PoB bugs in calculating Discharge dmg at the top in the guide. Newest PoB summary for Shaper: ----------------------------------------- And you can go even higher in dmg when using +1 curse Volls neck with ele weakness on hit Repentance. " This build uses RF in its final stage vs strong bosses so the only benefit is taking additional life regen with Oak. However 2 passive points are more valuable as the build will have 650+ life regen without Oak.
