[R.I.P.] life Mjolner done right by Rico - Juggernaut version - R.I.P. thx to "balancing" policy
With no nerf coming in 3.1 build will be updated for the new content.
I stopped plaing Harbinger few weeks ago so I cannot provide more vids vs very end-game. Maybe others? Hovewer outside of HoGM and uber atziri evyrything else has been done with this build, many Shaper runs included. I dont think there will be issues with Uber Atziri however HoGM is a bit different than other content and it might requie some preparations in terms of flasks and support gems before charging in. hey, great build :3
i kinda need a clarification on attack speed you fit your setups so they have 4,5+ aps - so that attacks take slightly more time than trigger cooldown. so in the new league without harbinger belt we will have to fit something like 3,5-3,9 aps, right? that makes undeniable less usefull, isnt it? or im thinking wrong %)
I am going to try this build once league ends. I am looking forward to your updated build.
I have a question regarding the belt, I have this belt: Would it be better than a TFU? If I use my belt I guess I'll have to get around 16% attack speed elsewhere, right? I never lose.

" You can replace Tethered flow with belt of the deceiver. Redix27 killed Minotaur with each in about the same time (look at the 2 videos p49 of this thread). I don't know if he was at 4,5+ APS with belt of the deceiver though. For myself, I prefer to use a belt of the deceiver, it feels safer. On another unrelated topic : I killed the Hydra a few days ago without the cold damage rare ring : I equipped a Dream Fragment ring because I was afraid of being frozen during the fight. The fight was very smooth and felt really really safe. Next time I will try the Phoenix with a Rise of the Phoenix shield to have even more max fire resistance.
Hi, i am thinking about doing this build for SF Mayhem race, do you think its viable?

" For me the opposite was the case. I wrote it earlier in that thread that the slower healing was an issue against Shaped cemetery bosses facetanking (for testing purposes). Maybe with a more attentive gameplay this will be fine with Deceiver in 3.1 though. Or I just did not have enough life, can not check anymore as I deleted the character when I stopped playing Harbinger. On another note, the Poet's Pen looks promising for Discharge. Unfortunately this won't work with Cyclone, so it'll lead to a different kind of build. I personally enjoyed RicoKGB's build a lot. Last edited by olsev_baiden on Nov 28, 2017, 5:06:57 AM

Poet's Pen looks indeed intresting. It seems to share same cooldown of 250ms but it triggers per attack or per attack skill cast (doesnt have to hit). Attack skills to be used with wands, well, barrage? A physical based attack with + cold from gear will still allow for EE chain to occur. Now, with lvl 75 - 99 character this item allows for lvl 24 Discharge gem (having lvl 21 corrupted allready) and with lvl 100 character - lvl 25 Discharge gem. Im to lazy to do the math right now but to my eye lvl 24-25 Discharge gem > global 100% spell dmg increase from Mjolner (and with Mjolner you must actually hit so accuracy...).
Oh... and theres no stats requirements... EDIT: Attack skills to use with wands: https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/List_of_skill_gems_usable_with_wands Theres Frenzy and Power Siphon on that list. Both can be used for addtional charges... However mobility with proper positioning vs mobs will be important. This is how it might look like in terms of gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTPPjlXcng8 Video shows example of the crit based trigger build that I was testing some time ago. It uses dual wield Wands + Frenzy as trigger skill, Scolds, 7xCWDT setup, Accuity for insta leech and Fevered mind jools to work with Scolds. Now with Poet's Pen Discharge version there will be less spell - like 1-2 spells per wand, and no life drops as there will be no need for Scolds CWDT Fevered mind combo. Im not sure if just single Discharge with even huge AoE will be sufficient thou. Poet's Pen can be also dual wielded for 4 different spells action with one support gem per each. EDIT2: Ehh I miss the old days... no bs just pure joy: https://youtu.be/NBHuvFnjVu4?t=1m57s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQp8k7wvnEQ&t=2m2s " Right. " TFU is not about the attack speed, it's about the cooldown recovery (17%+ needed) which allows 5 instead of 4 Discharge procs/sec with 4,5-4,7 APS. I recommend checking out RicoKGB's spreadsheet in the first post. No other belt (item?) has this cooldown recovery stat. Without TFU Belt of the Deceiver is recommended, preferably with +1 Endurance Charge. It's a cheap and reliable belt with 10% more damage plus a nice defense against crit. I don't think a rare belt can top that, but that's speculation from my side. Your belt surely is a good option for defense, especially when you need the resistances. If you can cover them elsewise, then use BotD. Last edited by olsev_baiden on Dec 1, 2017, 8:09:18 AM

Thank you. I'll have to wait until league ends to see how much a +1 endurance charge TFU will cost, they are quite pricey now.
It seems to me resists will be a problem since most of the uniques used for this build don't have resists, unless you invest in your jewels to cap your resists but even then maps with elemental weakness will need to be avoided. At least I got a good rare ring for this build. I never lose.
