[3.x - Discontinued for now] Burning Spectres - Torch the Atlas - HC Shaper, Elder, Uber Atziri
check out my rare shield on AHC character, boys
it feels SO GOOD lul, no problem with mana anymore (6% recover on block)
its even better than harbinger shield from last league I was using
pretty recommended for everyone
Can really be your positioning, but I'll tell you the truth. I didn't like the SG setup because bosses keep just comming to me and so I just need to keep moving all the time. They can melt bosses too, but is way difficult to gear right. TV are just more reliable to this since they keep facing bosses (while SG keep running at your side) and do the meat shield job.
TV+VM is a viable setup, but you'll find it pretty much slow as you're running SG. What you can do is mix SG+TV (2+2) or 4TV+Golem (both using elder helmet with mods that you can find into this topic + vis mortis). The pretty much difference is the price. TV+golem is way more expensive and add not tha much difference to 2+2. In fact, is a matter of choice and I hate to fill 4 slots with dedicated jewel.
Thanks Darkkaos I'm going to try out some 2+2 like you said, need to get a helm with some resists though which i guess is gonna be expensive!!
I was wondering, does my gloves implicit affect the SG?

I'm new on PoE, so I would like to ask more about this.
So how would you setup your links? +2 minion Helmet with built in minion damage + burning damage, and then socket in Raise Spectre + elemental focus + swift affliction + minion and totem elemental resist?
What would you put on 6L armor? Flame Golem + GMP + Spell Echo + Controlled Destruction and what else? Maybe Burning damage and Minion damage socketed as well?
Is it better to run the spectres in the helm, and golems in chest?
thanks!
+2 minion in the helm is not needed for spectres, with build in minionDamage + burning damage I would link it with spectre-eleFoc-swift-firePen for TV
on Armor flameG-gmp-spellEcho-Control-minionDamage-empower4
burning damage only benefits TV greatly.
Fire Pen doesn't work with TV because they don't "hit".
I need one red support instead then. What should it be? Added fire damage support?

Know it's been said before but I can't find it easily via google search or filtering. What is the "best" setup for a stat boosting animated guardian that will also keep itself alive well?
I am currently using SG to cleaar faster and do the atlas until the completion I want, then my plan was to switch to TV-WM to farm guardians/shaper comfortably.
But It seems that many of you are mentioning how those of you going for TV-WM , as the guide suggests, are also using the golem part of other builds ( 4 jewel slots + 6L helmet ).
So my question is, does the guide still work as it is intended? Will I be able to 'farm' guardians relatively safe with this build by running 3-TV and 1-WM or 4-TV without the golem part investment? ( Not taking into account AG, which I suppose all of us run ).
Now, irrelevant to the first questions, I am doing yellow maps at the moment, just farming the drops I get. And it seems that I have reached the threshold of the zombies utility, as they seem to die quite usually, specially on bosses or very dense pack mobs ( abyss, big inmortal packs ). I know they are meant as a meat shield, and since my spectres arent dying, not even close, I am still happy but is it normal?
I need one red support instead then. What should it be? Added fire damage support?
birning damage?
