sometimes I feel like all that time into writing the guide and maybe 5% of the players read it.

no wonder people get scammed on reddit buying awakened gems and they scammed buying regular gems instead lol
Are you guys getting anything out of the explosion mod on chest? I tried it and it's really underwhelming. I got some pops, but they don't chain far. I didn't feel like it added anything.
ive tried it before but I prefer the +1max koam stil. this league the astral might be worth it since you can roll gg ones with harvest. it supposedly helps with clear but once your gear reaches a certain point the clear is smooth to begin with

Exploding chest with no conversion on gloves and no herald of ash is terrible, it's exactly as you described: it doesn't add anything. You have to use the same mechanics as a fire BV chainer or earthshatter/eq chainer.

If you want it, you have to build around it on a shield mapping setup, the mod by itself is trash if there's no chaining element. Either build 100% around it or don't use it at all. It's a bit annoying as you need a full mapping gear set and a full bossing gear set.

Required setup:
100% ignite (must), shield charge (must), physical conversion to fire on gloves(1000% required) + herald of ash (very desirable) so you can chain explosions. Explode by itself is ultra terrible without the mod on gloves, the mod let the explosions chain one after the other just as herald of ice. Herald of ash is the finishing touch (explosions become fire -> they chain!!!).

Alternative for mapping is extra curse chest + infernal cry with increased aoe + jugg + all aoe nodes you can find (I personally like it better) - I would use this setup to push 100.

I actually was top 70 players on level ladder with explode setup, it's very good for mapping (I was level 98 within the first 10 days then I just quit leveling). With this setup RF is actually a tier B mapper, which is just incredible for a bossing/defensive build.

First chest is for just mapping and second for bossing (links on the exploding might be wrong as I use it on my bv character as well):

Yeah or just buy a random crusader one for 2c so you can test it out and save a divine
that's pretty cool. explosions are a lot more satisfying

grab stuff on the right. go up. grab stuff on the left. when you have a way to proc elemental equilibrium, go right and grab it. then go up
