Farming easy shaped maps is the most boring thing I can imagine, same as what the gorge meta used to be, making builds for that concent alone is boring as well, but different people like different things.

T15 breachead is easy because it has no map mods, yo even volatiles dont hit for more, than 6500, same with shaper, it is pretty much nothing else but a dps check with a little bit of dodging.

SC is harder than HC because you play hardest maps in game and dont use logout macros and portals tricks. Let me put it another way. Whats harder? Fighting a child or 10 guys in an alley? Even if you get your ass kicked 10 guys.

HC is an exercise in tedium and elitism.

Unfortunately, the way the game is currently set up, even in SC you have to grind safe and boring content if you want to level past 90. So I totally understand those guys who are running nothing but beachheads in HC. I myself am currently leveling in beachheads, and yes, it's a bit boring (although far less boring than running shaped strands), and I'd rather be farming guardians or doing something else. But the flat 10% XP penalty on death makes you choose between having fun or leveling safely and reliably :( And for the HC crowd, it's not even a choice.

This game means something different to everyone but I like rerolling maps until I'm on edge of death at all times. I mean I hate mindless grinding. I don't think I've ever farmed anything. Never run more than 3 maps in a row stuff like that. Level certainly means nothing to me. I have a couple 96s couple 95s all by accident back when we had nearly invulnerable ES lol.

IDK, I just used shaped strand as an example of safe leveling meta of the past :D Not sure what would be its equivalent in the current league. Before beachheads, I used to run dozens of wastelands, shipyards, sulphur wastes and mineral pools, and it got boring AF after a while. T15s are a bit better, I love colosseum for some reason :) But they are generally too dangerous for reliable leveling, and T16s are a ton of fun, but are extremely dangerous. So for now I'm sticking with the beachheads. Although I'm not sure if I'll bother leveling past 96. 94-95 was about 5.5% per beachhead, 95-96 is about 3.5%. So I expect that 96-97 will probably be something like 2%.

Was that directed at me? Yeah, the Queen Bitch is on my list, but I've got to farm my own mortal set first, 'cause I'm not paying 84c for one :P And incidentally, 100 regular Atziri kills is a part of one of the challenges. So everything in due time :)

P.S. Ah, I see you deleted the Uber Atziri part before I quoted your message. Whatever, I'll leave my response here anyway :D And as far as "cheese builds" are concerned - I wasn't even planning to run selfcast RF in this league. The plan was to go with RF totems because it's a cheap league starter build. But then GGG dropped the bomb and nerfed RF totems into the ground right before the patch, I hesitated for a while between AW totems and selfcast RF because those two were the closests thing to my original intent, and went with a selfcast RF Jug. Pure coincidence, and I've cursed myself a few times for choosing RF because of how expesive RF gear is in Harbinger, although in the end I came to like the playstyle.
