ALL HAIL PRESIDENT TRUMP

Trump seems to have backed off Syria as well. The smartest thing he could do is avoid getting further involved in Syria. Just sit back and let Assad and Putin mop up the terrorists there. Syria is a done deal at this point. Russia wants Assad to stay more than the USA wants him gone, or Russia would have pulled out of Syria by now. They must consider Syria of utmost strategic importance, or they wouldn't risk a direct confrontation with the USA over it. Putin doesn't make reckless decisions, he's extremely calculated.

Trump is winning at home, and Putin is winning on the geopolitical and proxy war fronts. And for a small fraction of the resources the USA is spending on losing. Just to put #rekt into context here.

It's been my opinion for a long time that the USA should take a step back from the world stage, and focus more on improving things at home.

Trump never wanted to get involved in Syria, at all, except to help Assad get rid of the terrorists mccain and obama and clinton backed.

Trump had to go along with the fake news "syrian government used chemical weapons" for overwhelming political reasons, but notice he only pinpricked the Syrians... if USA wanted to, thousands would have died.

Trump is trying to stay focused on conservative issues and leave the fake foreign policy stuff behind for good.

Moving on to real news, like North Korea.

OH AND LET'S KEEP REMEMBERING HOW REPUBLICANS REFUSED TO LET OBAMA HAVE ANOTHER SUPREME COURT PICK FOR MONTHS AND MONTHS...

hence, this being Trump's second conservative on the supreme court...

Coming soon, to an America Near You †

No - but devout Christians have invisible friends so that is obviously ok.

And as for Humans not evolving you must really be out of your tree. Of course we evolved. From the same primordial goop that every other living thing on this planet evolved from. We just happened to take a different path from the other plants and animals.

And for your 'survival of the fittest' mention - thats a horrible misquote and factually incorrect. Darwin said that for each species:

1) More offspring are born than will survive to adulthood.
2) Adults pass on their traits (what we know as genes) to their offspring.
3) Those offspring with the best fitting traits to their environment are more likely to breed, and pass these traits onto their offspring.

Strength, speed, intelligence are all traits but not necessarily the best fit for the environment. Its easy to demonstrate all three of these (Strength, speed, intelligence). The leaves on a tree are not strong, but they are broad, lightweight and are able capture light and thats what they do best, so you don't need to be strong. Sloths are not fast, but they blend into the background to hide from predators, so you don't need to be fast. Americas voted for Trump, which proves you don't need to be smart.

Have fun.
There are 10 types of people. Those that know binary, and those that dont.

It should be noted that the vast majority of Christians accept evolution as a good, reasonable theory. Only a small percentage of Christians (fundamentalists) reject evolution outright.

In fact, most of the early Church fathers in the first 500 years of the Catholic Church rejected the idea that Genesis be read in a literalist absolute kind of way.
time for an evolution thread to counter the unthinking acceptance of a long since proven wrong theory.

It will be tough to get a troll thread as good as the flat earth one, but you should go for it.

Oh the flat earth thread is troll hall of fame stuff

certainly will be hard to match
I dont see any any key!
Man.

It's threads like this that make me wonder if we should've bothered winning the Civil War after all.

At this point I really am just about ready to take all the Trumpists and shove them in Ye Olden Times Confederacy, cut them off, and let them flounder as everyone immediately bunkers up and starts shooting every gay, every Mexican, every government official, every Muslim, every woman, and every non-Catholic (Muslims get it twice, just to make a point!) that dares approach their property line.

It's actively humiliating to live in a country where a man whose entire policy and personal philosophy can be summed up as "Hatred. Intolerance. Regressivism."...and then watch millions of people scream and hoot in wild support of it. When did this place become the Land of the Dick Trolls instead of the Land of the Brave? When did so-called Christianity give up entirely on its messages of acceptance, on 'love thy neighbor'?

When did striking down your own people become 'winning'?
