Saudia Arabia, and to a lesser degree, Turkey are tenuous allies to have no doubt, but its necessary for our World influence and access. Alienating Saudia Arabia would be awful from a strategic standpoint. Or worse, allow other powers like China or Russia to increase their influence. " Trump was a candidate during the campaign. He couldn't allow or disallow anything. He was a private citizen still. All the Obama administration did was start an investigation into Trump officals.(perhaps illegally) The intelligence agencies were telling Obama that The Russians were interfering, no one disputes this, and he did nothing! All because they thought Hillary would win. What a disaster from the Dems. No one colluded with the Russians from the Trump side, and even Mueller agrees after rigorously investigating.
