[3.3] CI Wandcultist - League starter - Fast mapper - Guardians on a 5L - Shaper down

im trying your build out and i like it so far, but im wondering while im literally doing 0 single target damage. The bosses (even some rares) while leveling are a pain in the ass and i dont know how / when / why it could become better :(

Your Barrage is only in a 4 link, that's the main reason to be honest. But, that's not important right now. Most importantly, you need to get 3 more levels so you can equip Thunderfists and socket your KB there. This will also allow you to use 5 or 6L Barrage. 2 levels later, you can put on Crown of Eyes.
Do your 3rd lab and get rid of Storm Prison.

woof is my character for this build, it's p fun and im having no issues at all right now but i'm still at low maps.

I have 6.2k es at level 83 and 24k kinetic blast dps 21.5k barrage dps. I haven't sorted out a lot of links yet and i'm missing cwdt setups but i'll probably sort them out before i head into higher maps.

i managed to get all my resists to 95 too for my wise oak


i think i have a lot of room for upgrades, which should i go for first? im thinking a better wand

This wand for 15c looks great if you craft attack speed on it but will mess up your Wise Oak resists if you were going for same resists across the board (it has lightning res).

With low dps comes low mana leech. Get this wand from poe.trade for 5c:

Once you get Crown of Eyes and Thunderfist you will see a big dps boost.

path of building says that wand only gives an extra 2k dps, i could get that vy upgrading jewels too. I guess the pen is nice tho

It had space for attack speed craft, with 12% roll it would be 15% more dps :) but I don't see it anymore.

Have you tried the two abyssal socket boots? I found I can sac some of my 15% lightning damage nodes to get the all resits + inc ES to barely cap resists, but then I can run two 2 abyssal sockets plus like 50% inc damage cause of ur 5 abyssal jewels

It's all about opportunity cost. If you have to sacrifice passive nodes or have to get rings with super high resistances but almost no damage mods! due to a high cost, then even with 2 extra jewels you might end up in the same spot. For example just the cost of 2 socket boots you could get an upgrade on your current jewels or rings/amulet slots. Best would be to check it in Path of Building before you commint any currency.
