[3.3] CI Wandcultist - League starter - Fast mapper - Guardians on a 5L - Shaper down

I personally took a +30 str node until I bought the belt I'm using, which has enough strength to cover the loss of the node.

Got my 5th power charge and with a Dying Sun I'll be at over 1 mil Shaper DPS \o/

Hey, love the build so far, but i'm having some issues with single target. my barrage dps doesn't seem to be that strong, am i missing something?

I'd probably unspec Static Blows, it doesn't add much to the build.
You still have room to upgrade to a 6L and get Point Blank. Doing just that will double your dps. There's also 2 jewel sockets 2 points away each that could be socketed with nice Abyss jewels :)

Why is spell damage relevant?

can this build be MF?

guess you could build it mf, but the fact you've got already head unique / hands unique might make it hard to cap your res, but guess if you've got the $$ / gear to do so, no reason you can't go mf

My dps is only 5k and I'm not sure which gear to change since I'm poor. Also I'm running disc wrath and I'm always out of Mana, do I need Mana gear?

So, I was having fun and stuff till I ripped my 6L Shawl in the altar, got so mad I created other char but wasnt having fun as I had with your build, since there is no shawl on the market Im using the shroud of the lightless, and its pretty descent, what lacks in ES pays off in damage + other things, Its suboptimal, but I don't have the currency to spend in the moment. Also, it still bugs me that my shitty chaos wand is better than most on the market. I've noticed on PoB that wand with increased gives way more dps than flat damage.Thank you again for the amazing build and feedback, you're amazing.

We use Crown of Eyes which gives us availability of scaling damage through increases to spell damage.

You will probably have to run lower tier maps (like chaining Shaped Burial Chambers, T9 Vaults etc.) and it might tricky to cap resistances, but... here's what I came up with:

It's almost a different build apart from the skill tree which is roughly the same. It goes Low Life for extra room for both Heralds, uses almost pure uniques setup apart from a rare belt, shield and possibly wand.
Shav's, Sadima's, Greedtrap, Thief's Torment, Bisco's, Ylfeban's. With perfect rolls on quantity, you can get up to 48% quantity and some tiny amount of rarity (+however you want to calculate Bisco's bonus).

Resists are capped with a high resist shield (I found a rare on poe.trade for 18c), belt (I used mine as reference with changed and upped res, so maybe around 30c for one like that) and some more resists on a jewel.
I've used a Piscator's to make it more budget friendly, as without Crown of Eyes it might be harder to find a good rare wand (since we ignore spell damage stat). I've used Ylfeban's since it doesn't have negative, but positive resistances and adds some flat damage (+it curses enemies so you don't need to corrupt your 16% quality Sadima's).
Lastly, I've used Thief's Torment so Temp chains isn't that much of a problem.

You can use either 6L Kinetic Blast + 3L Barrage with Knockback and Volley/GMP to just push the boss against the wall and finish it off with KB, or, you can just use Power Siphon.
If you pick Power Siphon, then Malediction might be better then Forbidden Power - but it's really important in that case to get curse (any curse really) corruption on the gloves to keep the Profane Bloom going.

You need to make your characters public for me to see, but this sound like a leveling issue. Past certain point (once you get to leech nodes and get some more levels going) mana stops being a problem :)
