I don't think that many players "need" to wait for Kay's update. OFC i'm waiting it too, but you can work around.
Killed my first Sirius with the base build, just switching to RK and their setup gems. I do think that Slave Drivers don't work good after T14. They die TOO often to conquerors minions like Baran.
No 4 spectres, no "build" unique, just tabula and trash gear. Doing T16 guardians and Shaper. Not the best dps, but manageable.
My first "real" upgrade was Diadem. To use all auras, unspec some life points and put 2 into the Sovereignty whell.
My second upgrade was the gloves, grip of the council. Only now I do feel that RS can "handle" the atlas, even with only 3 of them.
So, Kay update will be good, but you guys can just handle things since many problems here are with the atlas progress, not the real endgame gear.
Edit: I know that I should have got 4th specctre, but since I've failed 13 gems trying to get lvl 21.......

Because i dont have an unlimited budget? Sometimes, you have to decide whether you spend your ex on the +1spec with a 5 link, or buy a cheap 6 link and try to save the ungodly amount for a 6l +1 spec
I think +1 spec without 6l is not worth it. You can get 4th spectre form +1 want and +1 boots with 21 lvl gem. You can pretty much farm your way up to decent gear in just tabula. DPS-wise I think it would be the same
So i am kinda new to the game, 400 hours, and this is my first time to reach the 90's cuz im really enjoying the build. I am 93 now, and i am absolutely meltind fully juiced up t16 maps. The big power spike for me was to get a Devouring diadem so i can run zealotry. With that item and only 3 spectres, even before my spectre gem reached lvl 18 i was able to completely demolish t16 maps with 7k hp.
I made some adjustments to the build, i got the death attunement annointment and picked up grave intentions with the freed up skill points, also i dropped solidity and heart of the warrior and went down on the left side to get barbarism juggernaut and Bloodless. This gave me the same hp for the same amount of skillpoints but allowed me to take Call to Arms. In my gloves i am running enduring cry and steelskin, and i moved elemental weakness into my trigger wand replacing summon skeletons, This gives me slightly less trash damage because i lose curse on hit which spread the curse absolutely everywhere, but i keep my burst damage for rares and bosses since i can trigger the curse once every 4 seconds. This package however gives me a lot of phys damage reduction, the 2k heal from the warcry and the 2.2k extra hp from steelskin.
Keeping elemental army support on your zombies is a great dps boost i realised after dropping it for convocation so i went back to it.
I ran the flame totem for a while since i am using victarios charity cuz of bad luck on rolling my proper block shield, but i quickly noticed that the extra damage is completely unneccessary, even when doing sirus or any t16 map+boss, even with only 3 spectres.
This allowed me to put convocation into my shield together with Immortal call and cast on damage taken.
Once i manage to get my 5% of hp on block i will get glancing blows and see how that turns out, since i dont have any blocking nodes and it helps with avoiding oneshots and together with all the phys res and damage reductions that i have with this setup i will heal a lot of that 50% damage back really really fast.
With feast of flesh from the diadem and the warcry i basically heal full once every 3 seconds on top of all the regen and health pot that this build has.
Steelskin helps with bridging the gap during the big heals, as does immortal call. Glancing blows would also allow for immortal call to be more effective and more regularly active.
If you are having damage issues try to get the devouring diadem for zealotry, thats what gave me an insane amount of extra damage, essentially solving absolutely any problem i had.
One question that comes up for me now, i have +1 int amulet, +1 spectre boots and lvl 21 spectres (i leveled 6 extra spectres in my weapon swap the entire way, really worth it imo), which gives me my 4th spectre. Is it still worth it to get the +2 gem wand to raise the spectres level or is it better to just roll a wand with high minion damage and attackspeed? I dont really know how to find out how much extra damage i get from a higher level spectre vs minion damage.
How are ya dealing with 3 Auras, I dont have enough mana to reserve. Do you spec into Sovereignty in the tree?
When is it recommended to start spectre gameplay pls? And also how can I get the redemption spectres early on? And what spectres can I use before it since I'm planning on playing the pure spectres build. thank u
