After spending around 200 regrets and trying out stuff, I've came to the conclusion that you cannot keep zombies and golems alive in red maps, with Conquer influence like Baran and the fog.

The result is a total obliteration no matter what. Tried going 25% spell/attack block with full defensive tree and minion life/rege/leech. They still get 1 shot in packs by the mines from the Baranite Thaumaturges.

Fixed my own survival by going mana guardian. The new spectres fixed the spectre survival. The game is now "keep the zombies" alive.

I'm scared to invest in a AG cause he might actually RIP.

I am currently using two Solar Guards and one Baranite Thaumaturge. They use the same six link: spell echo, minion damage, elemental focus, controlled destruction and greater multiple projects. So far it has been a good balance between the mapping and boss/metamorph capabilities. A stationary boss affected by frost bomb which triggers elemental equilibrium with conductivity on hit goes down well.

Other than that I do not currently have any offensive auras as I am waiting for my fourth labyrinth and as such still am using the purity of elements, herald of purity to trigger my delirium jewel and flesh and stone for added defence. I also use my shield for my own defence and have no frenzy or power charges. With all of this, I am trying to stay there is still plenty of room of optimisation.

I am keen on trying the Esh spiders in favour of my Solar Guards, so I can swap out GMP and all my spectres can take advantage of my conductivity curse. So if anyone would be so kind as to allow me to desecrate them from their hideout, please contact me directly.

is there a way to craft the hunter base amulet with +1 to inteligence skill gems ? other then alteration spam ? like a blocking recipe with fossiles ?

Take the Indomitable Army passive, and use bone offering constantly. This should help your survivability as well, if you have Mistress of Sacrifice allocated. 60/30 block chance with 400+ hp on block is no joke, really helps a lot in fog :)

The damage in fog is overtuned and there a lot of on death effects/big aoe/offscreen damage.

You could try linking the support minions with meat shield and minion life so they will take some damage for you. Those support should also help keep them alive.

I don't AG can be used until GGG does something about the amount of damage in fog.

You might want to try Lightning Risen Vaal Advocates. They use lightning 'fireball' so will match with Baranite Thaumaturge.

Good question. I don't know, but I think it is possible to fossil block. Maybe someone has posted a recipe on reddit?
