" Ah actually that EE thread here, http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/19803/page/6 does say they changed it to how you thought. Hitting with all 3 no longer does nothing, but rather gives +25% to all resists, confirmed on January 29th, i had read an earlier part of that thread that I guess was the old EE and missed that they changed it. Pre-patch it was +25%/-25% for every individual element with an arbitrary clause that nothing happens when you hit with all 3 elements. So instead, having only 1 element now makes the buff stronger, whilst having 3 elements makes it actually weaker. | |
As far as i know, the elemental equilibrium map mod is applied to the player, not to the monsters. It's a curse, not a buff!

" Well, for most builds its a curse, there are a few builds out there where EE is beneficial to the player, but for whatever reason they decided not to get it (too big a node investment being the most obvious reason). |

What i mean here, is that the map mod is the opposite of the keystone.
The keystone applies the resist modifier on monsters whenever they are hit. The map mod affects the players resistances when he is hit. |

It says players having EE not monsters having EE.
It would be nice if monsters had EE because only on maps with mobs like on ancient pyramid you would ever feel it. |
