Youre pushing for not having to take hp nodes at all. If you take stuns and afflictions out of the picture hp stacking is massively inferor to ES how it works today, especially for ranged characters. Making CI and ES stacking vastly superior and hence what everyone aims for. Its not rocket science, im pretty sure you know exactly what im talking about but you just want that gamebreaking spec to get ingame. NO. Like I said stfu till youve come up with a proper counter to CI in terms of power relative to other specs not having it.

Dont bother going off on a you have no right to tell me what to do tangent, I wont reply to that.

Yea I'm done with you, your ignorance is plain to see. You have yet to tell us how it would be op besides saying it would be superior and others would be inferior. A+ on having nothing to say but spewing the same crap over and over. Maybe you need to stop and think for a bit.

Why would you choose a hp build over CI if this was in the game right now?

Flasks.
Life on hit.
Regen without delay.
Placement on the passive tree.
(if you're going to get something where there aren't many ES nodes. This also applies to the keystones that make regen/loh affect ES, you may not want to go where those are).

Just my 2 cents.

is this live already?

Really? The first line of the post says it's tomorrow.

Not too happy about the added CI nodes. I remember a dev saying they wanted to add a little boost to CI but they didn't want it to simply be more ES.

Either way, I guess it's a bit more balanced having similar power to the old CI but at the cost of a total of 5 points.

One thing I do not like is the changes to LGOH being based off a skills damage effectiveness. This completely negates some melee choices like double strike. The one reason I kept double strike over Heavy strike was the LGOH bonus, now that is in the toilet sadly. HS would now heal for more than DS would and the damage difference is too large to ignore without the healing benefits. I understand that its quite overpowered on melee AoE attacks (wasnt that the point tho since you would be using them when surrounded by mobs anyways getting your ass beat). It still is useful for stacking status effects, but the sheer dmg loss using this skill over other single target skills with LGOH or LL is just too big to make it worth it anymore.

For one HP allows you to use blood magic, making resource management a lot easier than it currently is with CI builds that generally have insane mana requirements. With an hp build you can also opt for more defensive items that have armor, eva as opposed to the 0 armor most CI users have to run with. Running HP also allows you to use instant HP pots, and there is no equivalent for it with CI, those save your butt quite a few times.

To make CI work you also have to spend extra points to reach certain nodes to make the build work, ie ghost reaver and vaal pact. HP nodes are also pretty easy for most classes to get early on, ES early game is awful until you can afford some expensive items that allow you to even survive certain maps.

Non ci users also have the new unique available with no drawbacks really. The item has decent stats and doesn't have the penalty that comes with CI users being forced to use 2-3 other useless uniques which are also expensive. So all in all to make CI work you have to be able to afford high ES items which are quite expensive and also be able to afford the uniques and give up 2 item slots for them. Also have to spend points to reach the aforementioned passives.

Show me another build that requires 2-3 uniques to be able to survive, its just silly honestly.

I reserve the right to withdraw any of my items if the price is not adequate.

Fixed some discrepancies between Nessa's text and her audio.

Just don't mess with DAT Nessa audio. C:

Good as always GGG

Man this thread went to shit around page 11.
Excited about Cyclone, quality skill gems being more apparent on the ground, CI buffs & some different race types.

As always, keep it up GGG!
And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you.
I'm still waiting for more chaos resist, but all in all game balance is much better now, so I guess these fixes will even it out even more :)
I don't really understand, is the Life gain on hit gem patch a buff or a nerf? I'm sorry I do not seem to understand it.

Awesome work GGG :=)

Have a question, does cyclone work with claws?
