Cmon guys, it's not that hard to read first post.
what the hell. it's been way more than 14 hours. wtf is going on here. don't lie
@BatmanVoll
There's still a race going on for 45 minutes, they said in the annoucment page early Afternoon NZ time, it's like a little after 11am there now, so it's still gonna be at least an hour+
CI change: To the players saying you can get high HP just like high ES, don't use Kaom's Heart at justification on why it's easy. You're suggesting getting one of the hardest end-game pieces of gear to say it's easy to get a lot of health. I run CI on my witch and farm maps with only about 2300 ES in full rarity gear. If you play smart, you won't die.

LGOH change: I am a little discouraged by this change because I think something should also be looked at for armor/physical damage reduction as well. Yes, I run a lightning arrow Ranger, but I also run a Bowrauder. The Bowrauder, although has many life nodes, also currently relies on LGOH while I stand in the middle of all the mobs for Point Blank/Rain of Arrows. Even with full endurance stacks and granite flask which puts me at 90% physical reduction, I seem to take large hits from physical mobs. Either they are hitting an extreme amount or the physical reduction % is lying. LGOH helps mitigate that damage while using Blood Magic supports on many abilities. I'm interested to see how much this change will affect abilities before I nerd-rage. It may not be as bad as people make it out to be. I am interested, and have not seen a dev post about it yet, whether or not the change is affected solely by the ability itself (70% damage effectiveness on RoA) or whether it ALSO takes into effect Chain/LMP/GMP etc.

If LGOH is affected by other supports then we might run into something along this calculation.

LGOH (lvl 18) + LA
40*70% = 28 hp/hit

LGOH + LA + Chain (unleveled)
28*50% = 14 hp/hit

LGOH + LA + Chain + LMP (unleveled)
15*30% = 4.2 hp/hit

LGOH (lvl 18) + LA
40*70% = 28 hp/hit

LGOH + LA + Chain (lvl 18)
28*50%(base reduction)*1.32 = 18.48 hp/hit

LGOH + LA + Chain + LMP (lvl 18)
18.48*1.32 = 24.3936 hp/hit

I do not assume these other supports will affect LGOH but if they do, this will be a large nerf to LGOH support gem.

EDIT: Upon further comparison of the %reduction/increased from leveling those support gems, they do not calculate as nicely as I put it and would be slightly lower than what I have shown above. Anyone with answers to how those calculate properly, please see Thread 251207 and help me understand the math properly.

Is Cyclone AoE (like Sweep) or Weapon Range (like WHirling Blades)? Want to know :(
IGN: kReiZy
How do u know the weapon range of a weapon? Do swords have a higher weapon range compared to claws?

Just curious

/edit: It's weapon range btw, no AoE

One handers have a range of 4, two handers have a range of 5. Cleave has a range of something like 20, if that helps.
That would mean that the maximum range on Cyclone would be 7 with a 2H and the new Duelist passive?

Yes, the character sheet lies when it comes to % physical damage reduction. Armor is checked against damage. Damage varies. Some mobs do a lot of damage, and require staggering amounts of armor to mitigate even 20-30% of the damage.
