To improve the summoning you can keep a second fang in your weapon swap and divine ire or cyclone linked to cast when channeling desecrate. If you have the carrion golem in your main shield it will desummon when you swap so it doesn't eat your worms


To be honest, i'm doing this all the time, for both duration snapshot and easier summoning with Divine Ire, but even if i wait till i see corpses are eaten by helmet i'm rarely being able to summon 20 spiders. Usually its like 16-18, which doesnt really make sense, because there should always be 10 corpses. Its not a big deal on map, because i know i'll get 20 from first mob, kinda annoying on bosses...

Anyway, this is my current setup, its probably final version, i'm only working on better ghastly jewels (for either DPS or spectre survival) and block spell corrupt on shield. I did some QoL changes in the build:
- i like permanent immunity to freeze and chill, so i use Artic Armour and Aisling crafted boots, so no space for War Banner, needs enchant on helme for one of 50% auras
- for the same reason i dont plan to use Aul, i dont think Envy is worth it, and i dont have gem sockets left for another aura anyway, but i think it's an viable option, get Malevolence/Haste Aul and then get some additional aura
- i sacrificed 800hp from tree in echange for max block, its absolutly worth it as i almost never die now, i'll be caped when i corrupt shield finally (with flask)

Does anyone know what is the setting on POB to make the raise spiders' DPS accurate? right now my total DPS for raise spiders is 34575.5 but my gear is pretty good and I'm clearing end game content pretty easily, so that is not very accurate. Even when I add the total DPS and poison DPS together times 20, it yields 2550000 DPS while I'm killing shaper guardians in a few seconds.

Boss should preferably be shaper/guardian

For your auras, haste should be ticked always, then optional to tick vaal hate on.

how do you set withered stacks?
In the configuration tab, all the way to the right is a tab for 'effective dps'

This tab contains the option to set withered stacks to 15.
I've followed this guide but I only have roughly half the DPS as the build, I've looked over everything for a few hours and I haven't been able to figure out how to increase my damage. I'm having a fairly hard time in T16s now.

Could someone knowledgable take a quick glance and help me out?

You need better cluster jewels. But anyway, with 3m shaper dps i think you should be fine at T16 maps anyway...

Well, spiders have invul, so anything minion life based is kinda waste. DPS wise the best one is just large minion damage with 12 nodes (like the two my character have), but there are other options for some utility/QoL. Having Renewal on every cluster is just something usefull for other minion builds.
I don't see any info about spectres in the guide, maybe it's my bad for not reading carefully but can you suggest spectres for this build?
