[3.25] Scourge Arrow Poison Prolif Pathfinder - Fast, tanky, fun to play

Just wanted to say the vengeance cascade mechanics work great. Already blasting through endgame content!

what do you suggest be the upgrade order going from starter > default build?

I currently have all starter items and replaced body with covenant. I purchased annihilation approach to try them out and im no where near enough regen to wear them.

Since you only need to fire once for the totems to begin their channel, I just drop a couple and then use ensnaring arrow as needed. The totem placement speed is nice.

Yea focused ballista is also pretty decent option especially early when you lack attack speed, was considering this as well but its a bit too clunky for me.

Curious about "Bow attacks fire an additional arrow" (Master Fletcher)

iirc, this was a super important mod because it allowed us to V SA and get more hits on bosses with the same number of pods.

How does this affect totems? Do they V like a player does? If not, what is the additional arrow doing for us?

YOu still want to spread the pods, they cant v shape because they aim on top of enemies, but you still want at least 3 arrows so the pods are spread out between them instead of single line

Just upgrade piece by piece, other than the boots rest of pieces do not depend on each other. Boots should be probably last, before that just some nice rare or darkrays (if you dont mind 2s frenzy duration) or atziri step is more than fine.

is it bad to have over 55% proj speed for vengeant cascade? currently at 61% and thats without the annoint thus adding up to 76% proj speed.

Its probably fine but more proj speed also makes pod spread worse. BUt with 76% total you can just use anomalous SA for +1 thorn and that puts you at 56% and thats perfect no?

Yea, everything returns to the ballista that fired.

Small build update:

10th April 2023
- Cleaned up starter setup a bit after playtesting it more
- Added Arctic Armour to starter setup
- Replaced Taste of Hate with Jade flask on starter setup (to budgetize
it more, ToH is still way better)
- Put more attack speed on the starter setup (flask suffix)
- Added Blood Rage to both starter and final setups
- Added Burden of Truth to starter setup (very very cheap belt, very effective)
- Replaced Rain of Splinters with rare jewel as more than 3 projetiles are not needed from my playtesting

Hey mate! I remembered i played scourge arrow some leagues ago and it was smooth as butter. I remember it was self cast though - went through your POBs and all of them use ballista. is it more DPS than self cast or is it faster for clear? or both?

Will start leveling a ranger for this, hope you won't mind if i ask some questions on the way :)

Hey. Yea, now thanks to Wilma's Requital ballistas are stronger than self cast and Wilmas also makes them feel pretty good so I switched to full ballista.

And sure I dont mind
