[3.25] Scourge Arrow Poison Prolif Pathfinder - Fast, tanky, fun to play

Is it a waste to go PAST 55% Proj speed? I'm at 76% with 21/20 SA but can just go to 21 SA for 56. Is 55 the sweet spot? or are their downsides to going past that?
Had been eyeing this build for a # of past leagues but never ended up rolling PF. I did so this time around & after my poison concoction starter began hitting a wall I decided to respec into this a few days ago.

I will say that the playstyle does take a little getting used to in terms of activating your minion, despair, adrenaline, and manually keeping your life flask up at basically all times. At first it's a little much, but if you playtest in maps for a bit you'll master the mechanics in no time.

Beyond that you can basically just lay down totems and run around -- not much more complicated than that. If you manage it the DPS increase is pretty crazy, and even if you don't you can still run around without the adrenaline mod-boots and have more than enough DPS for all standard content beyond the toughest stuff. It also plays pretty decently in a defensive roll for ToTA, as I'm at rank 1600 and its performing well.

As I mentioned I haven't been playing it too long but have already taken down a couple depth 400 Auls & Uber Sirus. Here is my setup, its not super complicated and follows your build almost to a T. The only difference really being I'm running double curse on gloves, which takes despair out of the picture a bit but not a huge deal really fwict:

Edit: Here are a couple of rare jewels I run w/ 3% reservation efficiency + resists if anyone else is struggling to cap their resists and/or are a bit mana deficient --

This is from the OP, which seems to indicate anything over 55% is unnecessary, but not going to harm your damage done if you happen to exceed that amount:

"
1. 55%+ projectile speed. This is required for Thorn Arrows to return with Returning Projectiles, increasing the damage by a lot. You can get 30% on Quiver implict and 20% on default quality on Scourge Arrow and then 10% on default quality on Returning Projectiles, alternatively 8% on tattoos.

If I'm incorrect OP is welcome to explain further, otherwise GLHF.

I noted a good alternative to the Divine Blessing minion once you get currency rolling is to get the -25% Mana Cost flask mod crafted onto your health flask and use Inspiration along with Divine Blessing + Malevolence (and alternatively Anomalous Increased Duration) to make Malevolence cost 0 mana. The cast speed in the build makes activating it take basically no time, and it also avoids having to deal with resummoning the Relic and turning the aura on again in harder content like Simulacrums or some Ubers (Sirus).

Interesting idea, may have to try it. Have bricked Uber Maven about 30 times w/ the standard setup and am at my wits end. This build is quite strong & uber capable, but honestly sucks for that encounter iyam. Our minion & ballistas die constantly and she teleports constantly -- makes your damage a crapshoot really (which means more exposure to her hellish mechanics). All her beams not only stops our regen, with the suggested endgame setup it outright kills us because we're constantly taking degenerative damage (minion, blood rage, & adrenaline).

The final phase feels very rough even with good degen placement. Not getting touched by anything while needing to dodge her attacks and tactically place your totems while also keeping up all our buffs and never missing a life flask (PLUS memory game) -- that's a big ask.

Beyond that re-entering the arena if you die is a nightmare (having to reactivate a # of our buttons in heated situation, etc.). I'm basically min/maxed, just no fury charge rings, so a bit lost to be sure. It's a bunch of moving parts, so it's likely a skill thing at the end of the day. Comparatively I have no problems w/ encounter on my FB Trickster.

*Update*: Finally managed to beat her. Definitely required a bit of luck but biggest changes were I) proccing 100% of the degens in the center so we can run effortlessly around the arena in final phase, II) specced into ironwood for totem durability, III) gave up on keeping up adrenaline boots (still useful boots regardless), IV) manually hit all my flasks simultaneously on arena re-entry so there is no 2-3s where flasks are inactive, and V) learned how to incorporate Despair into my rotation which ends up being more significant then the adrenaline anyhow. Thanks again to the build creator, it's been a fun one and has proven longevity.

Hello. Is the 55% proj speed needed if I'm running Anomalous Returning Projectiles? I'm seeing a lot of people in poeninja not running projectile speed with it. Thanks

I would personally never use the Adrenaline boots against either Uber Maven or Uber Sirus because you'll just combust instantly if you have a misplay. I've had very little trouble with Maven overall since if you fan out your totems, her beam swipe won't kill them at once. Touching the beams in the last phase can be a death sentence, but aside from that you just move when she telegraphs an attack and slap down more totems to blow her up. I never had more than 1 memory game in any of her phases, since once she starts doing some auto attacks your poisons will stack up *extremely* fast and rip her apart.

Sirus is an absolute joke with the caveat that his degen ground instantly kills you (more or less). Otherwise you'll phase him within 15 seconds and kill his last form on the Everlasting Fire phase.

Yeah all good advice. Took a lot of trial and error on Maven but definitely doable as you say, pretty sure I just suck at the encounter. You're also correct this build thrives vs Uber Sirus. I did 15 Uber Sirus' recently and went 14/15, so pretty effective. I recently took a swing at Uber Eater as well but ran into a lot of one shots & got rolled, so gonna have to rethink that encounter a bit. Cheers.

hi there. I would like to know how do you run several auras in addition to the divine blessing + malevolence? Do you turn off your auras every time when you want to pop malevolence or what? Thanks in advance, cheers.
Alright so I was playing a bit with PoB for next league (assuming tattoos wont go core) and I quite like this. Lethal Pride in Duelist area and keeping the Thread of Hope and swapping back to Eternal Struggle from Zerphis (as without tattoos supreme ostentation isnt so attractive anymore just for Zerphis):

Of course a lot of stuff can change but I was kinda bored :d

Biggest benefit of setup lke this is that the mana unreserved and regen is very generous so it should feel a lot smoother to play (and recast stuff like guardians blessing etc)
