[3.25] The Warbringer Slaming Serker [League Starter | Cheap | Smash the Atlas | MELEE BUFFED]

Going LA with Zerker sounds like spending 20+ points just to get to the right side of the tree, what are the advantages?
the usual berserker things

access to max res stacking on crystal/primastic skin and nodes away from soul of steel + armour/evasion hybrid pieces for max res armour/supress since you are near bottom left and bottom right

berserker can use any warcry to gen rage, and with some node investment (close to marauder) you can get perma berserk without losing glove slot for kaoms (which just got nerfed)

blitz charges are very very fun since hitting things fast is dopamine, its sort of like the old crucible mod but without the less dmg. and ofc rite of ruin/aspect of carnage is free big dmg regardless of how much investment you have

defy pain is also pretty interesting, it lets you build some very strong mapping/general tanky serker if you find ways to mitigate the reflect

if you prefer deadeye version, or even champ version for more tank, they are all strong in their aspects

Can't we do this with a single charm from the Primalist that says you cannot take reflected physical damage?

attack speed is the bigglest single bottle neck for this build to "feel" amazing and your slams to become near instant

get attack speed jewels, attack speed on rings and gloves, attack speed via rite of ruin triple AND you can unslot pulverize and melee phys (with their less attack) for other supports (like fort or shockwave) that dont slow AS



Is there any downside to going with Faster Attack Speed support over Ruthless in the 6 link? That seems to be our weakest DPS boost.

Could you point me to a rough guide that outlines LA Bowzerker?

Regarding defy pain: I am running a charm with "Cannot take reflected physical damage" which also very conveniently allows me to ignore map mods. Just based on the wording, I would think this would remove the downside of defy pain completely?
I wanted to league start this build, but last league i found it really difficult. Is there going to be an updated written build for this? maybe addressing the freeze/stun problem, the new ascendancies and some of the other things mentioned in the comments?

There is a very very early notable node on the tree in our section, Unwavering Stance, that says You Cannot Be Stunned. Mix that with any one or two flasks that remove chill and you should be good to go. The pseudo build-your-own-mini-ascendency from the Huntress looks like a good starter ascendency. You can get really good mods on the charms for cheap. Things like "Cannot take reflected physical damage" or "Cannot be modified below base movement speed" or even "cannot be stunned if you have at least 25 rage" are replacements or stopgaps for some of the issues you are facing.

Freeze will be a problem until t10 maps for freeze immunity from Merveil soul.

Stun you can get Unwavering Stance for 1 point you path right next to until Uber Lab.

One big problem I see so far is any kind of attack speed slow since the thing that kills me most is being slowed so much that my first hit doesn't come out and stuns.

What's the no action speed modifier mod called? I can't seem to find it.
