Your iron ring looks like a good place to upgrade to me. Get life, resists, life on hit, or a curse on hit there (as many of those as possible). That ring basically only gives you a bit of es, so that can definitely be improved a bunch. Also an offering chest would be good but that's more pricy.

Also your amulet has no life on it, and your belt has very low resist stats. Are you even resist capped?

I changed for this build yesterday, so i'm rlly lost with my skills, i just followed the video guidie, but i think that's not the best way, but there are so many option that i don't know what to use.

Your body 6l seems a bit weird to me but hard to tell atm because I'm on mobile. And you don't need specters anymore, at least that's what the guide seems to say. So you can change that + meat shield to something more useful. If I remember I will check on my pc tomorrow and tell you my thoughts.
Hey guys, picked up the game this league, this is my 2nd character ever, so i'm still stuck in noobland :-)

That said, i am loving this build, thanks for all the info and continuing support to the community. Currently on T12 maps, build is holding up well so far.

1- Noob question: is there any issue with putting the cyclone/VD in chest rather than staff (obviously I don't have a CwC staff yet)? Doesn't seem to me, but I saw a comment in passing somewhere that made me doubt.

2- When I compare my PoB to others, my calculated damage for VD is completely abysmal (44k vs 760k), but not sure what I'm missing that would explain such a difference...

3- I just sniped a decent Watcher's Eye for relatively cheap, but now I'm kinda stuck on my progression: what next for my gear/setup? I just unlocked the final Lab so I'll be running that asap, but gear-wise, I'd love direction on what to try to go for next... Probably better survivability (chaos resist, life, es), but what do you think would provide the best upgrade?

At first glance:

1) You need leash of oblation in order to be able to use 2 offerings. Remove Bone offering (until you have both a 21%+ offering effect body armour & leash)
2) Get a body armour with 21%+ offering effect. Huge boost. Ideally with an empty prefix for 10% of life as extra ES.
3) How do you sustain mana?
4) Boot enchant is really bad for this built.
5) You have no chaos resistance
6) No ES on hit (either aspect of spider + fenumu's or watchers eye)
7) Swap combustion for ele focus in you CwC set up. Much more damage and you will have plenty of ignites from the combustion set up in your chest.
8) I would guess Anger would give you a lot more DPS than Zealotry
9) You can probably remove some damage from your tree and pick up the shadow life nodes as well as Arcane will

So i tried sirus...
Never even understood WTF was going on, got him to half and used all my portals.

He basically 1-shots me through 40% chaos resist (75 with flask), 4.7k ES and 4.2K HP

WTF am i doing wrong, seems like cycloning through this fight is DEATH, if i even slightly touch anything i die.

Any tips ?

I feel like this league is dead. The elderslayers take AGES to spawn and Sirus is way overtuned.

Awakened Fire Pen will be more damage than Controlled Destruction in any maps with EE or +res mods. Especially with AL8 bonuses.

As for Spell Cascade you have to take your damage per ball and multiply it by your average ball count per proc (typically 6-7 with regular spell cascade). With spell cascade mana may also be an issue as you will have a higher attack speed because of more corpses consumed.

Use PoB to do your calculations.

Okay, but damage wise on average, Spell Cascade would be the best, right?

According to PoB Controlled Destruction has 20% more damage then Awakened Fire Penetration and around double compared to Spell Cascade
